We have been frequent diners at Bruschetta since it opened both of an evening and regularly on Saturday lunchtimes and it continues to impress. The new layout is much better and the staff excellent in particular Marco & Elizabeth. With the addition of the Takeaway we tried the Gnocchi Gratinati - potato dumplings baked with 4 cheese sauce which is on the Takeaway menu but not the main restaurant- just ask and they will do it- it is stunning. Giacomo you need to add this to the main menu.

Trowbridge has been crying out for a place like this for a very long time, a place with delicious food and a classy and authentic atmosphere. The food is not over complicated, it is fresh and cooked with skill and there is a wide range to chose from. The ambience is relaxed and very friendly, with professional and attentive staff, a truly marvellous little bit of Italy right here in the middle of Trowbridge. It far outstrips any other place to eat in this town, try it, you wont be disappointed.

Went on Friday night in a party of 4. This was the first time I had visited for several years - used to go when it was Red & White - it used to be superb.
3 of us had starters. 2 starters very good and 1 was mediocre. 2 of the party asked for a pasta dish served with penne pasta instead of spaghetti which the waiter was fine, but when the dishes arrived they were spaghetti. One member of the party ordered the lasagne. This came as it was - just a square of lasagne. it would be useful if, when ordering, you were asked if you wanted a salad or any accompaniment. My friend said the lasagne was warm but not hot. My pasta was tasty but not incredible. the saving grace was the puddings which were delicious - and the wine which, although not cheap, was very good. All in all the bill was a quite hefty £120. We usually visit the Italian Cafe just across the road, and think we would probably have had a nice, and cheaper, meal there.

I reviewed this place back in the summer of 2012 and was really impressed. It was really good back then but it has improved a lot over the past year. The entrance is now round the back, near an awful multi storey car park but once inside you feel like you are in another world, which is, thankfully, Italian. The waiting staff are excellent, very welcoming and very Italian so expect lots of singing and enthusiasm !

The food was excellent. Good, hearty Italian food and the service was very good.

I expect this place will get busier in the future now the new Odeon cinema is open across the road so probably best to book, it was busy on a Friday night when we arrived but they managed to find us a table.

Well, what a wonderful surprise hides itself away behind the multi storey car park! As soon as we stepped through the doors, we felt like we'd been transported to Italy. A very friendly, warm welcome, then shown to our table in the tastefully modern restaurant. The majority of the waiting staff looked and sounded very Italian which really added to the atmosphere. We had 3 courses with wine and everything from the bruschetta, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken dishes to tiramisu was delicious and very decent portions. It was a Saturday night and all the tables full of happy, chattering parties which also led to giving the place a lovely lively vibe. Price -wise it is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and I have no hesitation in recommending it as a lovely place for all sorts of dining occasions. Apparently they are soon to be opening the front of the building for takeaway Italian food too. Felt slightly odd walking back out onto the dark, wet, empty streets of Trowbridge after the warmth and vibrant buzz of Bruschetta but I know I will definitely go back loads more times!
