“Nice view”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

we stopped by for a cream tea, customary for these parts! Sadly the scones were rather dry and lacking in flavour. However, the service was good and they welcomed our dogs with open arms, which meant a lot, as so many places don't.

“Light, bright and great place for a cuppa with a view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

Quite surprised to see mixed reviews. Enjoyed a coffee, herbal tea, pitta bread with hummus and a bow of olives. Impressed with menu options. Everything was top quality and the service was quick and friendly. The cafe is nice and bright with lovely views out to St Michael's mount (if you sit upstairs).

“Excellent food, lovely service and a stunning location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We all had the locally made cornish pasties, which are excellent (although the garnish was a little sparse). Cakes and coffees also very good indeed, and service is quick and efficient from very smartly turned out staff (unlike some place)

“Yummy cream tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

We came here after a trip to St Michael's Mount during half term. The café was extremely busy and a lot of the customers weren't in the mood to be polite, but the staff were working really hard and remained friendly and attentive (when I probably wouldn't have!).

Two of us both had a cream tea - we received a massive teapot which gave us 3 cups each, as well as two perfect scones each with plenty of jam and Cornish clotted cream. I'm sure you are salivating reading this - it was delicious!!

The cream tea didn't appear anywhere on the menu (this seemed to be the case in lots of places around here, it's just a given that they will serve it) - we were pleasantly surprised when we went to pay the bill, as the price was very reasonable.

“Cream tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

We went to Chapel Rock Cafe after visiting a windswept St Michael's Mount. The cafe is bright and clean with seating downstairs and up, with views over to St Michael's Mount. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. My husband had a cream tea and I ordered a scone with jam and cream. It was the best scone I have ever tasted, soft melt in the mouth scone, tasty jam and delicious cream.
