What a lovely little place with an enormous menu. The people are really friendly who work in the cafe so much so my husband got stuck in the public toilets next to the cafe and one of the staff came to his aid, which I would like to say a very big thank you.

We have eaten at this cafe the last three years and we have always found the food to be of excellent quality, and the ice creams to die for.

You tend not to expect much of a beach cafe, but this one is definitely worth a visit. The freshly made sandwiches were great, with a huge choice of fillings. There is a great view of the sea and over to St Michael's Mount.

We dropped in here to try the food as we had read the reviews before arriving in Marazion. We were all looking forward to a pizza, but were unable to sample the food. On arrival at the location I asked a staff member if the café was open, she replied yes, so I payed for two hours parking, got the family from the car and walked into the café. We asked if they did pizza, and were told they were closed for hot food now, at 4:45pm on a Friday!! It would have been nice to know that when I asked the original question! We were then left searching for somewhere to eat as the café was closed.

Dear thebirds8,

Thank you for taking the time to review Jordan's Cafe.

Our cafe is open daily, 10am - 5pm.

We are sorry we were unable to meet your requirements when you visited.
It is necessary for our hot plates/griddles/ovens etc to be turned off at 4.15pm as they require time to cool sufficiently before they are cleaned down. We realise that our customers may still require food during this time and therefore are more than happy to continue serving fresh filled cold baguettes, soups, cakes, etc indeed anything else from our large menu that doesn't require the use of the ovens, griddle or hot plate.

Being proactive to complaints, we will ask our counter staff to be a clear as possible when communicating exactly what food is,and isn't, available at specific times, as we realise that our opening times and more specifically 'cooking times' displayed left of the front door of the cafe, are sometimes missed by our customers.

We understand that responding 'Yes' to the question 'Are you open?' When we are open, can cause some confusion. I'm certain, if your question had been 'Are you still serving hot food?' Our staff would have informed you that we weren't.

Went to Jordan's cafe at marizon today. Delightful little cafe, excellent food of an excellent quality. In addition the two ladies there were fantastic. Lovely disposition about them. A young family were dining at the same time and ordered their food and we're waiting. The little girl must have been celebrating her birthday, and the ladies made a bit more special by drawing candles on her food box. Lovely touch. A must to visit if you are on holiday. I think we will go again... Tomorrow I think. :)
