We booked this hotel by Secret Escapes and we weren't disappointed, the only thing we regret is that we didn't stay longer.
The welcome was incredibly personal, the room was clean and very well styled, it met our needs and then some.......and the view....as described and quiet literally breathtaking.
St Michaels Mount was a magical sight especially at sunrise and sunset, it felt so close you could just reach out and touch it, simply beautiful.
The hotel itself was stunning, the service, intimate and attentive and the food was excellent, top marks to the chef and their team.
The owners deserve and rightly so full credit for running such a superb establishment and we cannot wait to come back.

Room Tip: Whatever you do ensure you book a room with a balcony and view of the sea and St Michaels mount, its...

We booked the Mount Haven Hotel, only about 2 weeks before staying - a lucky find i believe!. We loved the place from the moment we arrived, and the view of St Michaels Mount was spectacular.
We enjoyed the warm welcome, great room, fab views, relaxing treatments and delicious meals, the only downside was having to leave to go home!!

We have even recommended the mount haven to our friends for their honeymoon.

We had a wonderful 4 night break at the Mount Haven Hotel and cannot fault it. Comfortable room with beautiful view of St Michael's Mount. Hotel spotlessly clean, staff and owners very friendly, attentive and helpful - you could not ask for more. Breakfasts and dinners were all superb. Conragtualtions must go to the owners for the professional way they run the hotel and encourage the staff to give their best. We hope to return soon.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the first floor for an outstanding view of St Michael's Mount.

Tried many - this beats the lot. Staff local and most helpful. Owners gave a warm welcome and ensure all is well at all times. Spotless throughout. Top class food. Wonderful views from room and balcony. Sensible prices. We will be back.

Room Tip: Go for room 12

Just returned from a 3 night break at this lovely hotel and totally recommend anyone to stay here . Staff all friendly and cheerful , food at both breakfast and dinner top noche . Eggs benedict for breakfast and any of the fish items for dinner especially recommended .

The outstanding sea views from the top floor rooms especially are unbelievable with St Michaels Mount rising out of the sea . We stayed in both four poster balcony rooms numbers 12 and 19 . Former is slightly larger but the latter has the nearer and possibly better view of the Mount .

Go and you will not be disappointed .

We stayed 6 nights at the Mount Haven Hotel & Restaurant in April 2013. Wonderful location, super relaxed atmosphere, but very professional, you simply cannot fault it. We would highly recommend it and will certainly be going back. The food is absolutely superb - loved every meal, both breakfast and dinner were wonderful every day. We stayed in two different rooms, both had superb views of Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount and most important of all - the beds were so comfy. All the staff were excellent. They really do make every effort to go that extra mile, and it really is appreciated. This is not a formal hotel, it is informal, friendly, but very professional and it offers superb quality all round. We just loved it. A real find for Cornwall. The hotel is very conveniently situated for all the wonderful coastal walks of west Cornwall - but is also an ideal location just to sit and soak up the wonderful view.

Hotel has excellent views, I mean superb views. Rooms the cleanest I have come across.
Breakfast was erratic..eggs benedict on the first morn had no hollendaise sauce but was hot and egg just sublime. Second morn had hollendaise sauce but it along with everything else on the plate was cold...
Dinner was wonderful apart from the homophobic woman who unfortunately we had met briefly in the bar prior to dinner. Sadly we were seated next to her for dinner and she rushed off out of the room to the toilet..to return once..before glaring at us again and leaving the room and her daughter..it was rather like the comedy where the very British WI woman vomits during the sketch when she sees anything that it not white, straight or middle class.
Liked the hotel and managed to eat all of my dinner, which was excellent, without vomiting...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Mount Haven is on the outskirts of Marazion, a historic market town in west Cornwall. The hotel has 19 beautiful bedrooms, a treatment room, a peaceful garden, an excellent restaurant and a contemporary Terrace Bar with mesmerising views out to sea, with St Michael’s Mount as the focal point. A stay here offers the chance to step away from your busy life and truly relax, unwind and rejuvenate. St Aubyn Estates became the owner of the hotel in July 2016, and after a prolonged period of closure for an extensive renovation we are now open. The hotel has been transformed inside and out, but the warm welcome and dedication of the team to meet our guests’ needs remain rooted in the hotel’s psyche. The restaurant is open to non-residents and Ross Sloan, our Head Chef, is a rising star on the Cornish food scene, serving imaginative food that makes the most of the fresh seasonal produce from the bay and land on our doorstep. ... more   less
