Description: Food served throughout the day Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce. From hearty Cornish breakfasts to relaxed lunches and intimate dinners, our menu is inspired by living and working by the sea and produce grown and farmed locally. Fresh daily bakes of the most delicious desserts and cakes are also offered up, to be enjoyed alongside the perfect cappuccino or latte. Where to eat? Lots of natural, light bathed and restful spaces - all with far-reaching views out over Mount's Bay and St Michael's Mount. Sit in the new glass and zinc extension, with doors that open out for al fresco dining during the summer months. Celebrate with family or friends around the intimate Captain's Table that seats 9 or alternatively, relax in our upper deck that has easy sofas, comfy chairs and a logburner. On the lower deck, walk straight in off the beach to the colourful and chilled-out beach bar and dining area. Outside, the beach terrace remains a place to linger, absorb the astonishing views and simply watch the world go by.

“Good Views, Staff & Food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Our family of six plus a dog approached The Goldolphin Arms in some trepidation for an unscheduled lunch. Our concern was this looked like a reasonably up-market hotel and restaurant and we were accompanied by our black labrador. We needed not to have worried.

We were quickly and warmly welcomed and shown downstairs into the restaurant. We had a magnificent view of St Michael's Mount and were quickly seated.

The restaurant was open to an outside terrace and overall light and airy. The decor was pleasant and the service good. There were too many dishes to describe in full but crab timbale, ham hock terrine, chicken, steak, squid, a fish plate and two 'catch of days' were gently enjoyed with everyone satisfied by their choice.

Our impression was that everyone was trying hard to make our lunch an enjoyable experience and for that all the staff should be thanked.

“Stunning views & excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014

Had a really lovely meal here on Saturday 25th July - seafood platter for 2 followed ( delicious) followed by a salmon power salad - absolutely delicious. Service was excellent despite it being busy but it's the views which steal the show - absolutely stunning! Had drinks here too a couple of evenings - great service !

“Super place for lunch with a view!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014

My partner and I ate lunch at The Goldphin Arms last week and we had the most amazing table with a superb view of St.Michaels Mount. Although it was busy the service was fast, friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait very long for amazing club sandwiches and beautiful crispy chips. The ladies toilet is worth a visit because the view is fantastic. What a great place....will definitely go again. fabulous value for money.

“Dinner with a view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014

After a fantastic visit to St Micheals Mount we were keen to have a delicious Sunday roast and were certainly not disappointed. The restaurant has a lovely clean feel and we were lucky to get a table by the window with spectacular views. Our main meals and puddings were absolutely delicious with the pork cooked to perfection and we were amazed at the reasonable prices for such a lovely dining experience. Well worth a visit.

“Amazing service and tasty seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

I visited on a hot summer's evening and sat outside overlooking st Michaels mount. It was the most beautiful setting imaginable. Service was excellent despite being busy and the waiter was so helpful as I have a nut allergy and am gluten free. Food was so different and very tasty. Overall highly recommended.
