We stayed in Marazion 2 weeks ago in self catering . Chose to dine in Bens kitchen after reading Trip advisor ..but checked it out on arrival before booking .good welcome and could book in advance ...We chose the first course of scallops, perfectly cooked not sure about the sauce /custard .. but doesn't mean others wouldn't like .....mains .. Hake served on puy lentils .. perfect fish .. shared the apple terrine,apple crisps and blackberry sorbet (heaven on a plate) the terrine was full on apple flavour . recommend it to all .. we also shared the cheese board together, good choice of local cheeses and homemade crispy biscuits together with a bottle of wine and a glass of red came to just under £100 good value, ..and Ben created something that I wouldn't normally do everyday ..a real treat .. thank you Ben and more to the point someone washed up.. all be it we could see who by the reflection in the fridge .. ... the cloakroom was spotless.. something that says a lot to me .. and a quick peak in the Kitchen to thank Ben confirmed to me hygiene was tops ... thank you Ben and your team for making our holiday a special treat.. one thing that really spoilt a really looked forward to romantic evening for a couple of oldys way past 65 but in our second youth ... was the young family who felt we all had to share their toddler crawling all around ..sorry to all you young ones with little ones but this really did have a bearing on our evening.. .
