Visiting Portreath for a birthday and was also bought gift vouchers for this restaurant. The decor is very pleasant and the staff were courteous and efficient. One of my guests asked if a dish had goats feta in it and the young waitress said immediately that she didn't know but would ask. She duly did, and it was, and she said it could be removed from the dish if there was an allergy. Brilliant! We all had different dishes and they were all delicious. However, the pudding of 'rock pool' was pronounced by my guest as one of the best dishes she had ever had. This is a well travelled person who has eaten at many very good restaurants and written about them too. If she says it's good - it must have been excellent. Not cheap at about £43.00 per person with a bottle of wine + 2 extra glasses, but worth every penny.

Booked well in advance so we would not be disappointed. We have been eating in Bens for fours years during our 1 weeks annual holiday with our grandchildren. Food is always of a high standard, and beautifully presented, raw ingredients are not skimped on and are locally sourced. Ben has created a London style eatery but with a better setting an views.
See you in a couple of weeks.

Just arrived in Marazion and needed good food. Really good lunchtime menu. Service and staff were so friendly and the food was lovely to look at and even better to eat. Relaxing environment, £12 for one course £15.00 for two and delicious.

It had been a year or so since we last visited Ben's. We enjoyed it then and when friends offered to take us out there we were delighted to accept. We were pleasantly surprised to find that not only had it improved on it's already high standards but that it had gone up to a different level altogether. Ben's is now competing with some of the finest dining establishments in the UK, not just the south west. Every dish consists of interesting and often complex flavour combinations tantalising the tastebuds with every mouthful. The meal culminating in a desert called "rock pool", a creative culinary masterpiece. I have said for sometime now that the standard of cuisine available in West Cornwall is at a very high standard and it is. Ben's is now sitting at the top of a glistening pile. Well worth a visit.

Really?!! 3 courses menu at $25 with a very high quality of food?! Yes, it's possible! Good service, very nice location, great attention to little details. Very positive atmosphere. I really enjoyed the food, prepared with good raw materials, tasty and delicate. I suggest you to go!
