Description: The Kings Arms at Marazion is a small, friendly pub that serves great food every day of the week alongside a selection of real ales from St Austell Brewery. Our menu, created by enthusiastic head chef Andy and his team, features only the best ingredients from local Cornish sources with all meals freshly prepared for you to enjoy. We have a comfortable, intimate bar with a warming log fire for colder evenings. Our outside seating area is a fantastic sun trap in the summer months and a very pleasant place to sit and chat with friends or enjoy a meal from our extensive menu. You will find the Kings Arms right in the heart of Marazion, just five minutes from the beach.

Really lovely pub .. lots of character ..as it is very old ... really good beers ..bit short of space inside as tables are used for dining ... but plenty of room outside all be it you felt you had imbided a few because the land leans ... good heating outside too... we ate here one night.. chose the window seat.. mistake was a littel tight .. but the meal was brilliant ..proper pub food.. as in really good.. my partner chose the ale pie. with a mash topping ,... the aroma as he opened the crispy top wa wow.. only fault was for him it was a little too much .. but appetites at 73 arent the same as others.. i chose the local fish Megrim.. a cross between a plaice and a dover sole . smothered in shrimp butter ... heaven try it .... I wasnt sure as am not a great lover of flat fish, but I do like to try new things ..well worth it and one last point Mike at the bar .. lovely man

We were a table of six and visited on Tuesday 17th September. We did pre book as we had tried to get a table on the Monday night but they were full! We had a mixture of fish and steak. Not all the meals were brought out together but the waiter/barman (Mike) had come to us straight away when he realised that not all the meals were going to be out on time and was so apologetic and nice, it really wasn't a problem. The food was delicious, the rib-eye steak was so tender and apparently the fish (hake with shrimp and samphire) was do die for. It's a small dining area so certainly would recommend booking. Excellent service from the front of house staff. If I lived in or around Marazion would definitely use this on a regular basis.

We ate here twice last week. The 1st time I had an excellent fish pie (and I'm not usually a fish lover). the 2nd time we both had a steak & ale pie special followed by a shared white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. All meals were very tasty. My tip would be to book at anytime of the year as the eating area is only small.

We were recommended to eat here by our b&b host & were not disappointed.
Some reviews have mentioned the proximity of other tables but we didn't find this a problem as it's part of the cosy atmosphere of an old pub & what you would expect.
Great local ale on tap, yummy food including lovely veggie options & great value. Liked it so much we ate there twice in 3 nights!
Make sure you book in advance to guarantee a table.

We hadn't booked for dinner, so as it's pretty small, we were very lucky to have been given a table, but were restricted to one course as the table was booked for another group. Food was OK, plenty of it, but felt no urge to go back again, tried another hotel the next night.
