Simply faultless, great location, great hosts, and lovely facilities which the hosts Paul and Alison put a tremendous amount of thought, effort and care into, to make the customer experience a very enjoyable and memorable one.

would go back in a instant don't want to recommend St. Michael's too highly otherwise we will always find it fully booked when we want to visit Cornwall again next year!

We stayed with Paul and Alison recently whilst house hunting in the area. They are lovely folks, so warm and welcoming. They took the time to put us at ease when we arrived and gave us a much needed cup of tea and scones. Breakfasts were of the highest quality in freshness and range. The two rooms our family occupied were extremely clean, wonderfully comfortable and with delightful decor. We relished our time at St Michael's and stayed and extra night.

I have just spent a night at St Michael's and I know I will be going back.

We timed our arrival perfectly as the hot mince pies were just coming out of the oven - and I have to say I think they were the best mince pies I have ever eaten!

My room was gorgeous with views of the Mount and a real princess & the pea style bed - which gave a great nights sleep.

Even though at weekends breakfast is supposed to be served at 9am - my friends had to catch an early train - bringing our breakfast forward to 7:30 was no problem at all - and what a breakfast! Everything that all the other reviewers have written is all true and then some.

I really can't find fault at all - if you are looking for somewhere in this area stay here!!

Thanks Corinne for taking time out to write us such a great review. We are really glad you enjoyed your brief stay with us and very much look forward to having you back to stay some other time. Can't promise mince pies in the summer - but we can promise a warm welcome and other home made goodies. Have a great Christmas and see you in the New Year, Paul & Alison.

Only had one night here toward the end of their season but the hosts Paul and Alison did all they could to make our stay perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and all of the small amenities that we all appreciate were there. Lovely bed. The breakfast was excellent even though we were the only guests that day. Thank you Paul and Alison for truly caring about your guests.

Thanks Micki and John for giving us an excellent review after your brief stay with us. We're really pleased that you enjoyed your visit to St Michael's so much, (even though we were in 'wind down mode'), as you were our last guests before we took some time out after our busy season. We hope the rest of your UK tour went well and trust you had safe passage back to USA. Thanks again for your much appreciated review. Warmest regards, Paul & Alison

Paul and Alison have set up their first B&B like a couple of pros. Their attention to detail is second to none and Alison's qualification in hospitality in imprinted on every aspect of this slick establishment. What do I mean by detail? Nice towels, nice linen, beautiful bedding, quality in room tea and coffee, good hairdryer keeper...nice toilet paper. You name it, they have thought of it. It's almost as if, shock horror, they might have slept a night in the room and thought of what they might need to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast was superb with waffles cooked to perfection, homemade bircher muslie, selection of pastries and bread not to mention the great company of Paul who was the perfect host. Paul immediately helped us in with our bags from the car, made us a fantastic dinner reservation down the road and made sure we had an informed itinerary in mind. The only problem with our stay was having to move on so soon. In retrospect we would have stayed 3 nights there and used it as a great base for the area. I honestly rate this place higher than most hotels I have stayed at recently. The price is very reasonable based on other properties we considered and stayed at. Having stayed at other properties that were more highly rated in Cornwall we would shoot Paula and Alison's little gem right to the top and will keep it as a benchmark of what a B&B should be.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor room which was all that was left. It was fab but I imagine the other...

We spent 1 night in this charming B&B and loved it.
we received outstanding service from start to end. We staid in room 6, which was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. Both room and bathroom were outstandingly clean, we had everything we could possibly wish and more.
Paul has been very helpful, told us what we could see, how to get there and when was best to go. We could see that he cared about his customers and went the extra mile with us, we felt valued and special.
We were given leaflets with points of interest, the best restaurants and pubs we could go to.
And the breakfast will be hard to forget, all for the right reasons: fresh juices, homemade porridge and a rich menu. We are recommending this B&B to everybody, will talk about it to friends and will definitely come back in the summer.
