Paul and Alison have set up their first B&B like a couple of pros. Their attention to detail is second to none and Alison's qualification in hospitality in imprinted on every aspect of this slick establishment. What do I mean by detail? Nice towels, nice linen, beautiful bedding, quality in room tea and coffee, good hairdryer keeper...nice toilet paper. You name it, they have thought of it. It's almost as if, shock horror, they might have slept a night in the room and thought of what they might need to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast was superb with waffles cooked to perfection, homemade bircher muslie, selection of pastries and bread not to mention the great company of Paul who was the perfect host. Paul immediately helped us in with our bags from the car, made us a fantastic dinner reservation down the road and made sure we had an informed itinerary in mind. The only problem with our stay was having to move on so soon. In retrospect we would have stayed 3 nights there and used it as a great base for the area. I honestly rate this place higher than most hotels I have stayed at recently. The price is very reasonable based on other properties we considered and stayed at. Having stayed at other properties that were more highly rated in Cornwall we would shoot Paula and Alison's little gem right to the top and will keep it as a benchmark of what a B&B should be.

Room Tip: We stayed on the ground floor room which was all that was left. It was fab but I imagine the other...

We spent 1 night in this charming B&B and loved it.
we received outstanding service from start to end. We staid in room 6, which was beautifully decorated and had amazing views. Both room and bathroom were outstandingly clean, we had everything we could possibly wish and more.
Paul has been very helpful, told us what we could see, how to get there and when was best to go. We could see that he cared about his customers and went the extra mile with us, we felt valued and special.
We were given leaflets with points of interest, the best restaurants and pubs we could go to.
And the breakfast will be hard to forget, all for the right reasons: fresh juices, homemade porridge and a rich menu. We are recommending this B&B to everybody, will talk about it to friends and will definitely come back in the summer.

We spent 2 nights in room 5 last weekend and had a wonderful time. St Michael's B&B offers you everything you could want from a B&B break. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and the breakfast room had a lovely light and airy feel. Paul was extremely helpful and welcoming and made some great suggestions of things to do in the surrounding area. Alison's breakfast's are a real treat and set you up for the day ahead. The B&B is located in Marazion which is the perfect location for St Michael's Mount (a must see). We also had a lovely meal in the Kings Arms but I would suggest that you make a reservation as it's a tiny little pub. Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone planning a trip to Marazion.

My husband and I stayed at Paul and Alison's B&B in September and would definitely recommend this location to base your stay in Cornwall. The hosts offered excellent information about surrounding areas and they best ways to get to them. The B&B is the nicest I have stayed in; very clean, and stylish. The breakfast is amazing, with very high quality and fresh ingredients used. You can really tell the hosts take pride in offering a wide range of choice and offer healthy options as well as the traditional english breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a nice view of the street below. There are many excellent dining options in town and the hosts are happy to make a reservation at one of them for you, or recommend their favourites. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay in Marazion with Paul and Alison!

John and I arrived in the late afternoon after travelling from South Africa for what seemed like days! We had such a wonderful welcome and our three days in Marazion were amazing. We were there to visit family - an aunt aged 99! Everything was perfect from the clean, airy rooms, the exceptionally good breakfasts and the wealth of information given to us about the area in general. If we are ever lucky enough to get to Marazion again, St Michael's B and B will be part of the trip. May you continue to go from strength to strength.

Room Tip: We were so happy in Room 5.

Stayed here with my daughter for three nights. Her flight was delayed which made our arrival at St. Michael's quite late. Phoned to let Paul and Alison know and Paul was so kind and helpful. He assured me that our room would be waiting and told me not to rush and to drive safely. What a guy! Our room was fabulous! Breakfast was the best I have ever had and nothing was a problem. Paul and Alison are wonderful hosts and the whole atmosphere of St. Michaels is happy and relaxed. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends. So glad we found it!
