Blue Horizon Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #3 of 8 Marazion B&B and Inns
Reviewed July 3, 2012

What a fabulous B&B easy to find and the hosts Judith and Paul made us so welcome.
My wife and I had never stayed at a B&B before and did not know what to expect, in fact we kind of figured Fawlty Towers might be what one was like. It couldn't be further from the truth what we found was a pleasant atmosphere and the room was adorable and the service was great the breakfast set us up for the day.
I inadvertantly left my wallet behind and 50 miles later I figured what I had done we returned and to my surprise I was greeted at the door by a smiling Paul who led me to the safe where it had been put for safe keeping. No Basil Fawlty but just about as funny, his sense of humour was just what we needed after a hard day travelling against all the traffic from the Cornwall show.
A terrific place clean, warm, comfortable and great hosts.
Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

We would highly recommend this b&b. The hosts, Paul and Judith were extremely friendly and nothing, in the way of help, was too much trouble for them, they made us very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent. We stayed in the room called "Marazion", very clean and comfortable and with a splendid sea view. Blue Horizon is ideally situated for a walk across the front, a trip over to St.Michael's Mount and there are good local pubs for evening meals. Furthermore, Marazion makes a good central point for visiting parts of southern Cornwall such as the Lizard Peninsular, Falmouth, St.Ives or Lands End all not very far away. We really enjoyed our stay there, good value for money and made that much special by Judith and Paul's friendliness and extreme care and attention. 100%!

We got back last night from a 4 night stay in Marazion. The Blue Horizon is ideally located for a great stay, walking distance from some great pub's and restaurants. We love walking and Paul and Judith lent us maps and walking books to make it that bit easier. There is breathtaking scenery all around you in Marazion and it is very relaxing, just what we wanted. The Kings Arms and Fire Engine pubs do fantastic food and reasonably priced. I had the best Tarragon Chicken I've had in the Fire Engine.

The B & B has a kitchen you can use if you wish to take food back with you or chill some wine in the fridge, or they don't mind if you eat in the lovely conservatory. Paul and Judith were ideal hosts, nothing was too much trouble and were on hand when ever we needed. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with great views of the bay. All in all we would recommend a stay in the Blue Horizon.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms quiet except for the seagulls!

Thank you very much Paul & Judith for the warm welcome, fabulous breakfasts and very comfortable stay. To everyone looking for a B&B, search no further. The accommodation was clean, cosy and confortable and the breakfasts set you up well for the day. We were in the room 'Pendeen' and in this room your could hear the sea when the tide was in and to us this was an added bonus. The service was second to none and the stay was excellent value for money. We will definitely stay here again. Andrew & Julie.

Many thanks for recommending us so highly. We have tested all the rooms ourselves during the winter (windows closed), so we are delighted that you had an added bonus in hearing the sea. We hope to see you again.

My friend and I stayed for one night at this lovely B&B as we were walking the coast path. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with stunning views over Mounts Bay, allowing us to see where we had just walked from and where we would be walking to the next day. We were met with tea and coffee and the offer of cakes (we'd brought our own) and some good advice about where to eat in the evening.Breakfast the next morning was excellent, as was the service and friendly nature of our hosts. All in all an excellent B&B and would have liked to have stayed there for longer.
