We stayed for two nights at Blue Horizon and is the first time that we have stayed B&B for a very long time so what a little apprehensive that all would be OK.

We should not have worried as were met by the most thoughtful Paul and Judith and straight away offered tea and scones as we checked in.

We used the online booking facility and found this to be really straight forward and chose our room accordingly. We stayed in the Marazion room and had great sea views and which was very clean and had everything we needed.

Breakfast was suburb and we were offered strawberries and bucks fizz to celebrate the jubilee.

We will certainly use Paul and Judith again when we require a stay in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for a great couple of days.

Graham & Janet

Room Tip: All very good!

This was our second stay and we were well looked after as always. Great rates, perfect location and also a big bonus to have a parking space in Marazion! Well recommended.

We stayed at the Blue Horizon for two nights to as we were attending a wedding in the area. We had a horrendous journey down and Paula and Judith went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us relax once we arrived. Paul even phoned us to find out if we were ok as our estimated arrival time had passed. The room overlooked the sea, was clean and comfortable and there was nothing more we could have asked for. Breakfast was plenty and we got Bucks Fizz on the Saturday morning to celebrate the start of the Jubilee weekend. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone, but especially because Judith and Paul are such lovely people who go above and beyond to make everything perfect for your stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view if possible!!

We stayed at Blue Horizon for two nights mid week prior to starting a cottage rental in another part of Cornwall. The owners couldn't have been nicer, making us feel very welcome right from the start. We were offered coffee and cakes and a welcome pack comprising map and tourist brochures as soon as we arrived. We'd booked a sea view double but the hotel has two of these and we were shown round both of them and offered a choice as both were available at the time.

I should point out that while the hotel is virtually on the sea-front and has looks directly onto the bay, NONE of the rooms have a view of St Michael's Mount. If that's what you want then you need to stay at the Godolphin Arms, which sits right atop the causeway to the Mount. We were happy with our choice as Blue Horizon is centrally located in Marazion and the breakfast room has peaceful views over the patio towards the sea.

On check-out, the owners told us that they had started a 10% discount promotion and that although we'd booked at a set price, they'd deduct 10% from our bill too. First class, and I'd happily stay again.

Room Tip: The "Marazion" and "Porthleven" rooms are the ones with sea views.
