We stayed at Blue Horizon for two nights mid week prior to starting a cottage rental in another part of Cornwall. The owners couldn't have been nicer, making us feel very welcome right from the start. We were offered coffee and cakes and a welcome pack comprising map and tourist brochures as soon as we arrived. We'd booked a sea view double but the hotel has two of these and we were shown round both of them and offered a choice as both were available at the time.

I should point out that while the hotel is virtually on the sea-front and has looks directly onto the bay, NONE of the rooms have a view of St Michael's Mount. If that's what you want then you need to stay at the Godolphin Arms, which sits right atop the causeway to the Mount. We were happy with our choice as Blue Horizon is centrally located in Marazion and the breakfast room has peaceful views over the patio towards the sea.

On check-out, the owners told us that they had started a 10% discount promotion and that although we'd booked at a set price, they'd deduct 10% from our bill too. First class, and I'd happily stay again.

Room Tip: The "Marazion" and "Porthleven" rooms are the ones with sea views.

Thank you all for choosing Blue Horizon as your holiday break. Your lovely comments mean so much to us and we are always endeavour to meet your requirements especially which syle of room is important to you. Whilst our sea view doubles and single room have fantastic views of the sea and garden, we would like to point out that both the Twin rooms which are on the top floor (3 lots of stairs) do have views from the side window/velux of St. Michaels Mount. Please do not hesitate to telephone us if you have any queries or special requirements on 01736 711199. We hope to see you soon,

We went to Marazion for the May Bank Holiday Weekend. It was our first visit in Cornwall so we used TripAdvisor to find acomodation and this is how we came across Blue Horizon. With hindsight , I can say we could not have made a better choice. The B&B is cosy and nice, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The hosts are a charming couple. They are always friendly and helpful, as well as eager to have a chat with their guests at any time. Breakfast was excellent as well. Marazion itself is a perfect location to stay in Cornwall, it is quiet and peaceful, it was a good starting point to discover all the places of interest that we wanted to see (The Land's End, Penzance, Helston, Minac Theatre, St. Ives, Mousehole) and first of all, it offers a stunning view of St Michael's Mount that you can never have enough of.

Room Tip: first floor rooms with the sea view are probably the best choice

My friend Sallie and I spent two nights at the Blue Horizon B & B in Marazion, Cornwall, UK. We couldn't have selected a better spot. The views are amazing, the hot tub/spa room is an added bonus. We watched the big moon from the window. The location is wonderful. I hope to go back! Paul and Judith are delightful and well suited in their host role. Breatkfast and tea were lovely. Go, Go now!!!

Room Tip: Top floor best views, but smallish windows. Hot tub/sauna room rental a must.

Just returned home from yet another lovely stay at Blue Horizon. I have visited Cornwall several times in recent years, tried other places but this guest house is definitely my favourite. Paul and Judith are really friendly ,helpful and always welcome me on arrival with tea and cake. The Mousehole single room is the best I have ever come across. Unlike the usual single rooms in hotels and B&Bs,which can be cupboard sized,it is so spacious with a large bed and the huge window gives a stunning view of the bay. Also,as well as the other rooms with a sea view it is located at the rear of the house overlooking the garden and patio, and so is quiet and peaceful for a good nights sleep.
Breakfasts are delicious, include fresh fruit and varied choice of cooked food, served in the breakfast room which opens onto the patio to enjoy the morning sun. The house is freshly decorated and Judiths own paintings of local scenes add a colourful touch.
Facilities at Blue Horizon are excellent. I have hired one of their bikes to explore the area and the hot tub is a great way to relax after a days cycling or walking the coast path. Marazion is the ideal base for seeing west Cornwall as it's not far from all the attractions. Paul and Judith are very knowledgeable about local places to visit and can recommend pubs and restaurants for evening meals.
I would recommend Blue Horizon to anyone and in my experience you will not get better value at this price level.

Room Tip: Book early to ensure a room with a sea view.
