“Herberton Historical Hit!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

What a lot of dedication to restore this village - and it shows! There are hours of entertainment for all ages. Café to catch your breath, old cars, old fashions - and did I mention the cars! A magnificent suspension bridge spans Wild River; printing displays; in short - a real must-see. Congratulations to the Historical Society for a wonderful effort - great fun for all ages.

“Excellent historic village!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Well worth the visit, so much to see....you could spend days there. Every building is full of old artefacts and they were very interesting - and some amusing. You can have damper for morning tea and lunch in the old Bakerville pub. A great day out for all. The township of Herberton is very pretty and very friendly.

“Don't miss, absolutely amazing”

Absolutely brilliant day out. We went with friends and had the most wonderful day out. The displays are immaculately presented and the quantity of displays is awesome. The buildings are endless, and truly takes you back in time to give you the feeling of travelling back to the 1800's

It's a great day out for the family, there is so much to see here. Everything was tidy and very well put together, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved martin's Chemist, and the jewllery/watchmaker shop, and the kids thought the toy shop was unreal!! We had a coffee and morning tea at the coffee shop which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Hopefully one day we will get the chance to go back there.
