With 10 other older ladies I spent 4 days here and we had a more enjoyable time, we found the staff to be accommodating and willing to give any assistance. 2 ladies went hiking with the hotel guide and enjoyed their experience in the rain forest. Amazing food.

Room Tip: A few rooms actually face the sea and one large one opens out to the balcony around the upper floor.

visited here for my birthday in 2012.....an outright amazing, experience, definitely one of THE best hotel experiences I have ever had..internationally...
The staff were soooo accomodating to all my husband's requests to dress our room, have a cake available and beverages of our choice...
Not very kid friendly as its a small resort...and there is no entertainment aside from dvd's so kids may not enjoy it..but for a couple looking to get away..defintely the best place in Trinidad...
the food was downright amazing as it was freshly prepared using herbs from the garden....
clean, new and very relaxing.....

my boyfriend and I stayed at Anise for a few days in september 2012. We had just arrived from trecking in Peru, so Anise was wonderful and relaxing.
The staff were friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was totally amazing and we were made to feel as if we were at home. There is a beach just a stones throw away, but not much else in the way of entertainment or restaurants.
This is the kind of place that is simply there for relaxation, reading, walking on the beach, eating good food, and resting.
we would completely recommend Anise.

Room Tip: we got a room overlooking the sea - it was beautiful

I recently spent 2 nights with my mother, aunt and sister. We could not have asked for more. Krista and her team were warm and welcoming; a wonderful place to enjoy Trinidad's cuisine. Modern and classy accommodation. A wonderful place for R & R. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two (2) nights over a long weekend.
After a 2-1/2 hour drive via narrow winding roads, we arrived and were warmly greeted by the resort staff, along with Mrs Thompson and Krista, with hot steamed washcloths and a welcome drink.

This resort is a hidden gem, it has an Excellent Ambience with attentive and friendly staff.
It has a very good hillside location with great ocean views and access to the beach across the road. The property is clean and well-maintained with a nice Infinity pool and jacuzzi.
The bathrooms and bedrooms are modern with high quality fixtures and fittings.
The linens were of a good quality and smelled clean.

The meals were not repetitive, the menu consisted of many tasty local dishes and juices.
This was the first all-inclusive resort that we have been too where the vegetarian option was not simply bread and butter. Mrs. Thompson was very attentive and accommodating, ensuring that we were always satisfied with our meal.
Overall, the Resort and Spa was of a very high standard and was a refreshing and relaxing experience.

Room Tip: Jasmine Room has direct access to the balcony and beautiful ocean views
