Although it's worth a trip by itself this is the place you will most likely visit if you have some time to kill in Gaya. That said it is an amazingly interesting place that is well worth a couple of hours of your time. Please do read up on the Ramayana-significance and try to cross the mainly dry river bed to the other side.

A very good temple to visit. Lots of purohits try to tell u this and that but politely ignore them and go to the main deity and do ur puja and come out. Very old temple and worth the visit

There is a foot print of lord vishnu in this temple. In this temple at outside the inner gate there is a place drop of water coming from the wall and believed by the people that if water get on people there wish will become true. Outside and inside the place need some strong cleaning work. Municipality Gaya must do it immediately.

It is believed that the process of Pinda Pradan is completed with the offering of the Pindas at Vishnu Padam. With the great number of Hindus thronging at the place everyday and offering Pindas, we cannot expect neatness and cleanliness. It is the faith which is the guiding force drawing people to the place. Wheelchair access is difficult.
