Visited this temple in the month of Feb 2013 and reached Gaya from another holy place of North India called Kashi ( Varansi). It was a great trip where my spirituality saw another commanding height..Kashi, Ganga Arti, Sarnath, Bhairav Temple in Varansi and then to the origin of Budhdhism in Gaya or Bodhgaya. It was wonderful trip indeed.

Actually earlier visited this temple long back and don't really remember when. Forget the word called cleanliness I can say all temples in the country are alike and it too was not different. But you can surely feel the spiritual energy abound. Thouching the so called feet of God Vishnu is really wonderful. I was also surprised that no greedy priest was around. Taking photos was also allowed.

The temple lloks grand from outside..But yes I can say the tourism deptt. of the state failed badly to market the importance of this place.

it was real old and not very clean. People offered Pjnd made of flour, rice etc was strewn all over. it created slush and slippery floor. It was a real feat for the older people to keep the balance.
It is expected to be crowded then why are the arrangements not made in advance. Is there no place of cleanliness in the Faith.

BE CAREFUL. Very badly kept and dirty places give bakshish only to cleaning peoples who do cleaning in your presence. So they will start performing properly.

Visited this temple. Very spiritual energy surrounding this temple. There is Bayan tree behind the temple. Prepare to give some money to priest there. Camera allowed inside temple. Very beautiful temple but only problems is the panda's. They are like gangsters. They only need ur money. Don't let the panda's spoil your day. Ignore them and walk very fast into temple.
