This inn is in a lovely situation. A group of us had dinner here. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The first courses (Scotch broth and scallop with black pudding) were excellent. The main courses were also excellent - most of us had fish but one person had meat. Two of us (including myself) followed this up with cranachan for dessert. This was a real disappointment: the cream was hard, the raspberries had no flavour and the toasted oatmeal was soggy. We reckoned it had been made several days previously. It should not have been served.
