A tastefully renovated monastery which has both old charm and modern conveniences. The owner treats his guests like family. Arriving during the medieval festival completed the magical experience. It served as our base in Tuscany where we explored Cortona, Siena, Firenze and even Venice. It was close to the best shopping outlet in Italy-theMall. We left with memories to last a lifetime

Room Tip: Contact owners and Pre pay a few months ahead

Rooms were big enough and good beds. Our group had possibility to cook in the kitchen and use one big room as our dining-room. We also painted in the balconies. Hosts were very flexible and fetched us by their car from railway station.

The only bad thing was, that the rooms were a little cool and damp during nights. Maybe during summer time it is different.

Room Tip: Higher part of the building is better.

This was our first time in Tuscany, and Santucce was a marvellous introduction to the region!
Our particular accommodation was apartment-sized, more than spacious, (it would easily house two couples)with a terrace that offered a spectacular view of the area. We spent every evening on that terrace, enjoying the view, while sampling the local wines.
Our unit offered the best of old-world charm with modern amenities.
By the back entrance, we could access the old part of the town. We fell in love with a friendly "pizzeria" just a few metres up the street, where we enjoyed one of our evening meal, topped off with Limoncello.
Luca and family were welcoming and helpful.
We'd definitely return there again.

I would highly recommend this place for a vacation stop. It is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay that has the following amentiies: Kitchen with cook top, refrigerator, and dishes; 2 bedrooms; large bathroom with plentiful towels and blow dryer; and a spacious living room with a fireplace. The view from the balcony was breath taking and peaceful at night with a glass of wine. Train station is about 2KM from the convent which makes it convenient for other travel throughout Italy. There is not any internet service however, there is always an unsecured wireless internet that you can locate.
