“Lovely rental cottage, as advertised, well appointed, nicely renovated, close to the beach for a relaxing break”

We rented this property for s long weekend break, friday to monday. It was just behind the first row on houses on the sea front and we accessed the key without any trouble from the key safe on the wall. The owner, Alan, had sent me an email with location and access information, and that combined with the instructions left inside meant we found everything we needed. Alan was extremely helpful and answered a whole variety of unusual queries I'd had before we arrived. Internet access was good, convenience for the high street and the local fish market were excellent. It was so close to the shore and the beach was 2 minutes walk. It was also very close to the Fife Coastal Walk, it took me about 30-40 minutes to walk into St Monans along the path, and I saw seals at the point (just below the crazy golf) on my first night here. I hope to come back sometime soon as I had a lovely relaxing weekend here. Oh and if you like chocolate don't miss the Cocoa Tree shop/cafe in the high street 10 minutes walk from the cottage (and the bread from the local bakery was really nice too).

“Exceptional”

My wife and I have just returned from a short stay at this delightful cottage in a beautiful part of the East Neuk of Fife. We have stayed in many self catering properties over the years, most of which usually disappoint in some small way upon arrival, be it location, cleanliness, character etc. Sea Glint is therefore exceptional as from our initial contact with the owners with precise location and arrival information, a thoughtful arrival gift of wine and chocolates to beautifully clean and tasteful accommodation all bases were covered. How nice too to be able to park so close by with no dreaded pay and displays...
Sea Glint is clearly a much loved home, not just a holiday cottage and, rarely for us, we were quite sorry to be heading home after our 4 night stay !
Thankyou.

“Excellent in Every Way”

Our family stayed for 3 wonderful nights at Sea Glint. The quiet, picturesque location was ideal. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and the multi-level design offered lots of privacy for everyone. The loft area provides a quiet sanctuary to read and relax. A patio table just off the kitchen is the perfect spot for afternoon tea surrounded by flower pots. The kitchen is stocked with basics and there's a great assortment of movies and books, as well as free WiFi. Highly recommended!

“Perfect - Peace and Quiet”

Quirky cottage by the sea with a lovely little courtyard. So peaceful and picturesque. As the rooms are on different levels and parking is not available immediately outside the cottage it might not suit the more infirm but for us (who aren't quite at that stage) it was perfect. Lots of parking available at the seafront which is only a very short walk away.
Lots of extras supplied and was very comfortable as it has been fully renovated to a very high standard. Loads to do in the surrounding area and only a short drive to other villages and St Andrews. We were lucky to have a couple of sunny days and it was a perfect wee holiday to recharge our batteries.

“A great holiday cottage in Fife, Scotland”

Would highly recommended this cottage if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Fife. There are some lovely coastal walks in either direction direct from the cottage (look out for Eider ducks and cormorants). Historic St. Andrews is a shortish drive, or bus ride, away and is definitely well worth a visit. We also found lots of really nice places to eat out in the immediate area too. There's a village shop, post office and cafés just a few minutes from the cottage and a friendly pub opposite the working harbour.
