We have enjoyed two lunches in this friendly restaurant. The food is of a high standard and well presented. Plenty choice from the varied menu, something to suit all tastes. Will definitely eat here next time we are in Pittenweem

Five adults and one nine month old baby visited here. We went for the high tea, rather than dinner, so we could put the baby to bed at her usual time and we were not disappointed. We had a variety of very good homemade main courses which everyone enjoyed, but the best was yet to come. We were served an assortment of gorgeous mini deserts! We only visited once because we were not staying in Pittenweem itself, but if we had been we would certainly have gone again. The owner is a fab chef. Very good service all round.

Lovely meal at the Pittenweem Inn. Scallops were fantastic, haddock with cheese good as well and meringues and raspberry sorbet outstanding.

Husbands teriyaki beef, haddock and chips and chocolate sundae all excellent as well.

Good food, big portions at a great price.

Food, atmosphere, friendliness of this restaurant was first class. Would definitely come back to this and that requires an almost 2 hour journey. My dessert of meringue was amazing, so much so, the other half (heid the baw) who never eats sweets got fired into as well

As an aside, I have a thing about toilets at restaurants. They must be meticulously clean. Suffice to say, Yu could have eaten your dinner off the cludgie (toilet) it was that clean!!

Big thumbs up from me

Just back from the Pittenweem Inn for the 1st time since it was the Anchor Inn. Can't say how fantastic the whole experience was from arriving to going home. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, it was lovely to actually meet the man cooking your meal, never had that before and have to say the steak was the best I have ever tasted. The sticky toffee pudding did not disappoint as did Billy's meringue sorbet. The decor and ambience is very relaxing, doesn't actually feel that you are just five minutes from your home, more like being in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Can't wait to be taken back!!
