Pittenweem, nice quiet fishing village, car required to get around unless you want to use public transport

“Holiday House in Pittenweem”
Reviewed July 8, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Highly recommended house to stay in for our East Neuk Holiday. Perfect location on the High Street in Pittenweem. Beautiful big house which was immaculately presented and has everything in it that we needed for our stay.

The bedrooms are very spacious with the master having and en-suite

The owner Lynne was hugely accommodating and customer service was A+++++

The price of this property is also fantastic. Originally looked at a static caravan but was so pleased to have come across this house which enhanced our stay and cheaper than a static

The walks down to the harbour are just a few minutes away and a great base to access all the local East Neuk amenities and attractions

Pittenweem is such a lovely, friendly seaside village

We would definitely stay here again
Thank you

“Lovely comfortable property”
Reviewed May 30, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We stayed 3 nights in late May, this house is nicely situated at the top end of Main Street and we found it really excellent for 4 adults, a big plus was having 2 shower rooms. The kitchen has just been renovated to a very high standard and is also very nice , although we only cooked one breakfast
It was very comfortable to sit in the living room, where there is a Aga log burner that generates an unbelievable amount of heat from 2 or 3 small logs the fire was all set and ready to light which was handy as we had a massive thunderstorm on the Saturday and the power was off for over 2 hours. This was a big blow for what must be the busiest chip shop in the world situated right next door as they had to close early .. it is really good fun to watch how many people queue up to get a fish supper. It is worth queueing by the way for the delicious freshly cooked fish
i could write loads more but i suggest you go and see for yourself, not only is this a great house to rent , it is situated in such a lovely village on the most beautiful coastline and to top it all the people in Fife are a delight.

We will be back soon and our thanks to Lynne and Fraser

“Warm & welcoming, ideal holiday cottage!”
Reviewed March 15, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Lovely accommodation, extremely spacious (pictures don't do it justice). We stayed here with our 3 young children. Holiday home catered to all our needs, travel cot & high chair provided. The children loved exploring the cottage & the village of Pittenweem. The house is in an ideal location on the high street & short walk to harbour. Highly recommend!!

“Pittenweem peace and quiet-bliss”
Reviewed October 22, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Lovely stay in this spacious two bedroom house with very relaxing living area. Living area very well renovated with log burner-perfect for chilly October evenings. Excellent location on High St very near bakery and next door to fish and chips shop. Kitchen and bathrooms need a wee bit of renovating but this is reflected in the price. Bedrooms massive and great sea view from bedroom at the front. Owners very helpful and communication excellent . Would recommend this house as a super base for exploring the Fife coastline.
