“#1 for a reason!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

We have been traveling all around the Philippines and found this to be possibly the best meal we had!! The fried chicken was one of a kind amazing and the pancit was excellent with their home made noodles!! Yummy! Wish we would have eaten here earlier in our trip to coron! Also it all goes down very very well with a cold ginger mango smoothie. Amazing!

“Decent”

Well we tried a couple of things on the menu. The seafood dishes were really good but the rest were ok.

The sizzling squid were phenomenal

“Was just okay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2014

Read good reviews so we've tried this out.  Food was so-so. It was bit spicy for my taste. Companions who like spicy stuff said that the food didn't actually taste that good, it was just "spicy".

“very good, authentic Filipino dishes in traditional setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2014

To the uninitiated westerner, this place may not look like much, with its gravel on the ground and rough hewn Acacia wood tables. But this is real Filipino hospitality and the menu has the most typical dishes. Service gets slow when the place gets busy but on the all a great choice for a Filipino meal in Coron!

“Must Dine Here while in Coron”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2014

If tuna sisig is on the menu don't go any further. It packs a punch and full of flavour. A must try Ialso is the salt a pepper squid which has a light crunchy coating. We also had the vegetable omelette which was amazing. Come to think of it everything we ordered was great. Wash it all down with the pine and lime or banana ginger smoothie which you can jazz up with a shot of rum. The place is done up like a big native hut .Its an open space so come prepared with insect repellent . The service was friendly and Chef kaz even came over and said hello on a busy night. We ate here twice on the 3 days we were in Coron.
