“My best beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 8, 2013

Stayed here for 2 overnights. The beach is really the place to be for a relaxing and romantic vacation. Wide white sand beach. Quiet and peaceful. Watching and listening to the waves as the sun sets and later watching the stars well into the night.
The staff are courteous and friendly. Facilities are simple. You feel more of nature. There is a common toilet and shower area. A small store to by some snacks and beverage. They also have a kitchen and barbecuing area. The resort is well taken care of by the staff and they clean the beach every morning. Electricity is available from 6pm until around 1am. The cottage is made mostly of bamboo and nipa for the roof. A soft foam as bed, pillows and blankets are provided. There is also an electric fan. You may also borrow a small table and chairs from the staff.
Entrance is 200 pesos per person for a visit. Overnight stay is 700 pesos per person per night which include the use of one of the cottage. Use of tables is 100pesos.
I rented a private boat at Coron Reef Pension House to get us there for 2500pesos plus 1000pesos for overnight stay of the boat. Thanks to Kuya Baste and Ate Rowena for taking good care of us and cooking and preparing our food. We brought enough provisions and supplies for our two nights stay from the Coron town market.
I like this beach resort best overall comparing with the other beach resorts in the area.
I suggest that they improve the common toilet shower area and add some sinks and shelves to place shampoo/soap while showering and brushing teeth and perhaps a table to place the towels and change of clothes. And perhaps add a couple of cubicles for changing.

“A beautiful rustic masterpiece”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

Malcapuya has this beautiful untouched flavor to it. The finest white sand and a view of the sunset beats even that of some of the beaches in Australia ...

You can swim with all kinds of tropical fish and even sting ray just a few feet from shore..

The facilities need to be maintained. Especially when it came to the bathroom,...

The sand is powder like and the beach is very nice. Its well kept and the water is very clear. Its about 3 hours away from the port and when we went to Malcapuya it was raining so the tide is strong.

“Beautiful, deserted long stretch of white sand”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2013

If you're raring to do that quiet, long walk on pristine, white sand and clear waters, this place is for you. When our family visited on the first week of July 2013, there were less than 10 tourists in sight. With the boatmen as guides, our kids swam to about 30 meters off the shore to see giant clams and some corals and fish. Not very special, they said. Snorkeling here doesn't compare with Coral Garden or Banana island. The more senior ones had enough thrills for the day at Bulog Dos and Banana island, so we stayed under the shade and sipped buko juice from the shell (P50 a piece). Great way to end the day of island hopping!
