For 600 pesos a night, you get a whole lot more than what you pay for.

PROS
The place itself is very cozy and welcoming. There's a cable TV in the common area, separated toilets for boys and girls and a nice view of the islands on the big window. Tess is the first one who greeted us and she was very friendly. No wonder why foreign tourists like to stay there. They are building a small pool (plus additional rooms)which I think will be an additional amenity for the place. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience it. :(
CONS
The area where it is located is like a barong barong. It's near the sea so you can see boats parked on the side. It reminds me of navotas but a whole lot cleaner. Aside from that, the whole place is perfect for your stay in coron.

My bf booked a flight going to Coron for our 2nd yr anniv. We planned to avail a package but most of them are good for 3D/2N which will not work for us because we're planning to stay for at least 5 days. We've tried searching for hotels but the rates are too high for 5 days expense, until then we read some of the blogs posted for "Patrik and Tess guesthouse".Every stuff was written so well about this place, the cost per night is a way cheaper than what we expected.Locals and and even foreign guests said so much good things about this couple, especially the guesthouse itself. We finally decided then to check this out,we deposited 500 in advance and pay the rest once we arrived. It was Mar 28,2013 when we got to Busuanga Airport. We rented a van and joined with the other group going to Coron town.We don't have any clue where we're headed to ,so we asked the driver to drop us to Patrik and Tess guesthouse and good thing that they know them.Around 6pm when we arrived, the gate was closed so we just get in. We saw Tess and she was very very nice,Patrik was not around so she assisted us in everything we need like a bit info about the town, good restaurants where we can eat the best dish the cheaper or the cozy one.She gave us a little map to get familiarize in the place,as well as the package tour they offer. And then she walked us to our room. The house is so cool, very neat and organized. There's a wooden set of table and chairs outside where we can smoke and you know grab some coffee or beer whatever we want. They also have a mini sala if you wish to watch tv,ofcourse a fridge and comfort rooms. It's well maintained, pretty much the house is complete. Really!!!!!This is simply one of the best deal that you could ever have, friendly and accomodating people around especially Patrick and Tess and her mom.The cost of rent is less than what it's worth.#highly recommended

Warm, welcoming and friendly place to stay.
All standarts of course differ from Western standarts, so don't expect the same. Keeping in mind that it is a Guesthouse this is the place to stay to get the best value for your money, clean rooms, nice livingroom area with TV, nice outside area, hotshowers, free drinking water and free wifi:)

Patrik, Tezz and Ely are very friendly and will go out of their way to help sort out anything from where to go for dinner to joining Island tours, they are just great people!

The previous reviews say it all: this is a great place to stay.

I can only really repeat whats been said by 99.9% of the people here.
I was lucky enough to get a cancelation at Patrick & Tezz place for 5 days at the last minute and am so glad I did, even after those 5 days, when I unwillingly had to leave because the rooms where already reserved, I would pop back to see the family every nigth!. They can help you out with anything you need in Coron or your onward journey. As said over and over again on here you feel like part of the family straight away, Just really nice people. Rooms are basic ,There is a shared bathroom but I never had to wait (not that I would personally care anyway ) If you are looking for a Hilton esque experience you should probably fork out the couple of thousand extra and go to one of the high end resorts instead of looking for things on the cheap. If you want a real experience with real people in Coron where you can rest your head for the next days activities you should stay here. I will stay here again when I no doubt pass through again one day. So should you!
