The way to Banana Island will take about 1.5 hours from the town proper, plus minus a few minutes, depending on the wind (Amihan or Habagat).
We really enjoyed the island. It is well kept, with hammocks and bermudas and trees that provide shade. It has a relaxing ambiance. We had our lunch here, and it's really nice to take a nap right after.
We also enjoyed snorkeling - there were a lot of fish to see and you only need to walk a few steps. The water is shallow. However, it's hard to walk barefoot on the seabed. Better have your snorkeling shoes with you. I like Banana Island far better than Malcapuya Island.
Would definitely come back here.

We spend a week in Coron and a week in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines and this is our second time that we have visited these places. I tell you, Coron is just an amazing place to see. The crystal torques waters we swum, the island hopping we will never forget and the friendly people we cherished.

Beach frequently swept clean. Huts poverty standard. CRs dark for squeamish. Hammock disintegrating. Cheap plastic chairs tables, tableware. Guard dogs not starved but one had inflamed eyes and paw pads (old dog no medical care?)
