Going to this place is a roller coaster ride with a tricycle, with a boombastic music to pump up the hell of a ride! For others, maybe it's uncomfortable, but for me and my friends, it was crazy fun! It's our final destination for the day and it was a good idea. After long hours of walking, trekking & riding tricycles, taking a dip in the hot spring is just so relaxing & refreshing. The water is obviously hot, that's why it's a hotspring! Try sitting behind the rocks with falling water, & your having a free massage. Just be careful because it's slippery from the algae. The place is not for the luxurious ones. No proper shower facility/comfort rooms, few cottages. But for the simple ones that want to experience everything, go for it! Visited 2011 not 2013 (late review).

“Real Hot spring”
Reviewed June 12, 2014 via mobile

To warn everyone who wants a relaxing dip on water, this is a real hotspring, the water is hot which is a little uncomfortable specially during summer, but it is a nice experience since this is a natural hot spring. I suggest that you come during night time since the weather is not that hot and you will appreciate the hot spring more. The travel from Coron to there cost us 300 pesos per tricycle which is already round trip price, we don't actually know if this is overpriced or not but it can fit about 4 people in the tricycle, if you have time might as well check this place.

“Waste of time! Not worth it.”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

It is about 30 minute tricycle ride from the center of the town. It is a real bumpy and not so comfortable ride. The entrance fee is 150 pesos. I read most of the reew here and so I was not expecting much. I was greatly disappointed that the "pool" is dirty. The steps/seat are super slippery from the algae. Even the floor are slippery from algae. Yes it is hot but that's all this place can brag. Most of the people that came the same time with us were disgusted. The most stayed for 30 minutes. There are no proper shower facility, limited toilet/ changing room, few cottages and chair only.
We like to travel and interview locals for tourist attractions- the tricycle driver told us mostly negative review after we left. He did not want to spoil our visit (plus of course the money that we are paying him) and therefore did not say anything prior to arrival. OH how I wish that he warned us- so we did not waste money for transportation and entrance fee.

Warning! for people with cardiac problems, diabetics, and with high blood pressure check with your doctor first- submerging in hot water for a long time is contraindicated.

“Hot hot hot!”
Reviewed May 22, 2014

You would think that on summer you would be wanting to avoid any hot spring. But bear with me. A 30 minute tricycle ride along bumpy and dusty road takes you there for P300. You need to pay another 150 to get in. It's best to go in the afternoon when it's not too hot. It is bounded by the mountain on one side and mangroves and the sea on the other. There are two pools the top one is hotter than the other. It is all au naturale. There are some spots that are slippery. The footbed of the spring itself is pebbly but not sharp. There is a grotto to one side. It is lovely to immerse yourself in the hot water-all your aches and pains seem to melt away temporarily. It is serene and peaceful specially at twilight when there are fewer people. You can also get drinks and snacks (pricy) if you get peckish. We stayed for 3 blissful hours, our tootsies were shrivelled like prunes but not a one complained.

“Nice place”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Located not so far from the center, one can take a tricycle. You can ask the driver to wait for you for a reasonable price (forgot how much we paid).

The water is really hot, may not be hot for Japanese though. The place looks nice and clean. The panorama of the spring pool surrounded by mangrove trees with an opening to the ocean looks amazing. One can just sit and relax on the benches under the mangrove trees.

Going to the place is ideal on cool days as you may not enjoy going there on a hot summer day. Perhaps late in the afternoon is ideal. I can imagine a cloudy, breezy and cool day to be a perfect day for this,
