“So beautiful!”
Reviewed August 17, 2014

We loved the lake, it was so beautiful and cool to swim in after a day on the boat. There are about 300 steps on either side but it is quite an easy walk (nothing like Mt Tapayas). The view is beautiful from the steps looking down towards the sea.

Watch out if you sit on the rocks though because little shrimp/yabbie things come out and can try and pinch you, which shocked us a little bit!

“Just, WOW. :)”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

It was rocky, it was slippery, it's a hard way up, but it was worth the trip! A very unique experience indeed. The colors were very beautiful to look at, and it is deep! Very very deep! Be very careful of the rocks underneath as you might trip/scare yourself. Ha ha ha

Before going up though, be sure to put on an insect repellant. Mosquitoes are everywhere. But be sure to take a picture of the backdrop and the beautiful lake, and swim, it's not cold, just a warm experience that will want you staying for more. Unless you know how to swim, wear a lifevest. And enjoy :)

“Amazing”

Absolutely amazing. The swim-in cave was unbelievable. The stairs up and down are a little precarious so be prepared.

“Unique lake on top of the hill”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

I like the uniqueness and the views from the top of the hill. The water at Kayangan lake is amazingly clean and feels lukewarm. the only thing I didn't like are the mosquitos in the area - and I forgot to bring and apply some insect repellant on my self. The mozzies were just everywhere (even when I was swimming in the lake). But the view from up the hill was simply breathtaking.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

Easy to get to by boat and just a beautiful place to visit and go for a swim. Perfect for kids even if they can't swim well as long as they have a life jacket on.

Make sure to bring mosquito repellent because they are vicious here.
