La Sirenetta is a romantic outdoor restaurant on the water front at the center of Coron Village, with wonderfully delicious and creative food (not quit as classy as the Asian Grand View). Coron Village does not have many choices in fine dining, so this is the top of the list. La Sirenetta is pricy for the provinces, though cheap to Makati standards (about P900/2 people w/ drinks). The atmosphere and decorations of La Sirenetta are best suitable for a quiet evening of candle lit dining with pleasant ocean breezes. Nicely presented Mango Maui Maui grilled fish and Pesto Mushroom pizza were a wonderful complement to each other for the best tasting meal I had in Coron during my week stay.

Caution: Expect bad reviews for this restaurant due to it's service!!! All the tourists I talked to in town agree that the waitresses hate working at this restaurant and as a result, they are rude to all the customers. Expect the worst service in Coron, even though you are paying a 10% service charge.

We could not stop staring at this cool looking over water restaurant with mermaids hanging from each columns, and could not wait to go and explore it. If there is only one problem with that place, its getting to it! There were no main sign jumping at you from the main street and we ended up asking the locals to simply walk us there. You go through a small narrow alley, through some construction and some weird "neighborhood" then VOILA!!!

We loved their appetizers (though a little overpriced) and their drinks were amazing. But the reason why YOU MUST GO THERE, is the sunsets; Just breathtaking! Have a look at the pics and enjoy!!! :)

Coron Town is saved by the views and La Sirenetta fooled potential customers because of its location. This restaurant was a big disappointment. Unattentive waitress, not to mention clumsy--she dropped by fork twice--in our table and to the next. As soon as you enter the restaurant the waitress seem to be not interested to see you and keep on chatting to themselves. I had pineapple fried rice--big chuncks of pineapple of pieces of chicken which I think should be cut into a smaller pieces. The tiger prawns in garlic was served by chunks of garlic and half-cooked at that which leave a bad taste to your mouth.Watermelon shake should be mixed with a bit of sugar, or honey and ice--not milk! Serving of food takes longer than usual. And Php60 for a instant Lipton hot tea was a ripped off.

The most expensive meal I had in Coron--and definitely not worth it.

An eccentric menu (not to mention the interior) containing Filipino, other Asian, European and American dishes complete with photos of the dishes leads you to expect less-than-average food, but as a matter of fact, it's excellent. Lemon shrimp pasta was perfectly al dente (rare in this country!) with well-balanced tastes, hummus and pita were on par with European Mediterranean restaurants. Service was good and price was fair. Recommended!

The food was average. They had my choice of gin (Bombay) which made me and other members in my group very satisified. They have a pool table but I never got a chance to try it out (the pool table at Helldivers Bar was our local table). Prices are above average.
