My hubby wanted to go zip-lining while in Costa Rica, Me? not so much. But I love the guy, so I acquiesced. We easily booked and paid on line; set the GPS for Pura Adventura and took off for our 11:00 adventure. WARNING ! Don't implicitly trust that lying "B@#ch" on the GPS. What could have been a 20 min drive via a couple of dirt roads took an hour and a half!! Why? The GPS wants to keep you on paved roads. Obviously we were incredibly late for our trip, but the nice lady that greeted us, told us we could go on the second trip of the day @ 1:30. We sat down and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and serenity of the working ranch.Which means I had that much more time to terrify myself with worries, concerns, and just blind panic.
When Diego and Luiz returned we apologized profusely, they could not have been more gracious and professional. What started out as "bad luck" actually turned positive when there were no other customers for the 1:30 trip, they took just the two of us out. Safety is their chief priority with ensuring your good time running a close second. Both my hubby and I are "robust" in figure, and I celebrated my 53rd birthday this year. No problem. We had a blast from start to finish. Even during the truck ride to our destination we had a good time, with Diego pointing out a Howler Monkey and various flora and fauna.A huge thank you to Pura Adventura and your staff ~ I am so glad we went for our first zip-line experience with you !!
