We stayed here for the county show weekend and found it a perfect base to explore Orkney. The accommodation was extremely well equipped, and cleanliness was of the highest standard. Inga couldn't have been more helpful. The whole stay was so enjoyable we're on the verge of booking again!

Great spacious cottages with excellent sea views. On site laundry was a bonus. Perfect base for exploring Orkney, halfway between the Northlink ferry terminal at Scrabster and the main town of Kirkwall. Will return!

This is a good thing. With some sites the picture are misleading or the locations etc are a bit off. I've come to love getting exactly what is described on the respective web sites. No surprises. Indeed the case here.

The units are 2 bedroom on top and I presume two single units below. We had the top floor. Bunk room for the kids, separate twins for us. WiFi is good, the water is *right* there. Great views while eating breakfast etc.

Access is great because it's pretty central to the whole island. You do have to drive for dinner out.

Have stayed in these well equipped lodges for seven nights. View from window outstanding and we have been very fortunate to have the best weather ever, so much so my fiance has managed to burn his head. We have been watching a seal frolicking in the bay from our picture window.
We have visited many of the historic and beautiful natural attractions, views beyond compare from the coast, places like Kitchener's Monument, Marwick Head, Yesenbay watching Puffins, and the Gloop
We preferrred the Broch of Gurness compared to Skara Brae. The Ring of Brodgar was so interesting I now have a ring with that design.
I was extremely impressed with Aurora Jewellers, at their workshop a ring was made for me whilst I waited.
The Peedie Chippie comes to Finstown on a Friday night, best fish and chips, and cheapest, I've had in a long time.

Love this island.

For us Atlantis Lodges were the cheapest accommodation on our 3 weeks travel tru Scotland, so we did not expect too much of it. But we were so wrong. In fact the place turned out to be very comfortable and complete with a amazing view over the Firth. We were welcomed by a very beautiful and lively young lady, who showed us the apartment with great enthusiasm. The place is spotless clean, and everything is in perfect working condition.

Orkney itself is a very rich, full of history and wildlife. It is easy to say we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The only thing we regret is that we only booked for 3 nights.
