Travelling from the UK we had planned to stay in Brisbane and then drive down to Sydney before Xmas with relatives in Melbourne. I checked the area on google earth and the rolling hills and great feedback sold the Farmstay to us. Great location for touring and the chalet we had the benefit of a new shower room, that meant a happy wife. The weather was changeable but that was fine if you know what i mean. Showers brought about bringing to life the sounds of the smaller local residents. The chorus on the wind of the resident Baritone rain gutter frog was backed beautifully by the masses of soprano and castrato cicadas. Add to this mix of the rain tapping on the tin roof it was a sound neither of us will forget as we looked out of the window at the hillside and the changing moods of the clouds scuttling by and the distant Byron Bay was bathed in sunlight.

We love Australia!

The Byron Bay farmstay is by far one of our favourite places to visit with or without the family! We have stayed here easily a dozen times over the past 7 years and will continue for many more. Ivan and Angela have done such a wonderful job updating the place over the years and have really made it another holiday home for us. We find the 2 bedroom cottages the nicest and easiest for our small family, but they can easily and comfortably sleep 4 adults and a few kids. The views are breathtaking and the way the cottages are set out makes you feel so secluded, even though your neighbour is only 5 meters away. The livestock always make my girls happy, and swimming in the lake is a must if the weather is hot. The outdoor BBQ and supplied wood is one one of my favourite things. But really what makes this place special is the energy and help from the two owners, Ange and Ivan. They are 2 very lovely people that will always make you feel welcome and try to accommodate your requests.

Also, if you are into mountain biking, you HAVE to bring your bike along, as he has over 3 k's of xc trails(intermediate to hard), plus k's of walking tracks to ride. And I am sure if you ask nicely, he might join you:-)...

We recently stayed at the Farmstay between Christmas and New Year, and really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful farm and is incredibly peaceful. The location is brilliant, it is under 10 minutes drive in either direction to either Byron Bay or Bangalow. It was lovely to return to such a relaxed location from the craziness of Byron Bay over the holiday period! The owners are lovely and very friendly, and even provided a large box of toys for our 8 month old daughter to play with - very thoughtful. They are also very prompt if anything needs to be attended to (replacing gas bottles, etc.). We stayed in a one bedroom cottage and it was a great size for our little family, the kitchen was very well appointed and we were able to cook full meals and also make homemade baby food for our baby. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish and had been newly renovated to a high standard. Would definitely recommend the Farmstay to others, and look forward to returning someday.

Surrounded by beautiful hills and a lake, the place is cooling and winding. The cottage is clean and nice with a wonderful balcony for the nice open view of the surrounding. Location of this farmstay is conveniently near Byron Bay town and Bangalow village with only 5 to 10 min drive each way.

As a former resident of Byron Bay I would have to say that the Byron Bay Farmstay provides everything that Byron Bay has to offer. Firstly the cottages are very comfortable, providing everything that one needs. Surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills that Byron Bay is well known for. You are immediately surrounded by farm and native habitat, as well as a real living dam. The views are breath taking. All of this and only a short drive to any of the beaches, particularly Tallows Beach and Broken Head. Also only short drive to the popular Suffolk Park Pub (family friendly), shops and town. The Farmstay is incredibly peaceful, private and relaxed. Our four year old loved exploring the farm, including fetching the freshly laid chook eggs and herbs for breakfast. You actually don't have to leave as there is so much on offer at the farm, kyaking, fishing, mountain bike riding, walks, or just sitting and taking in the serenity. Perfect for couples or families. We will be returning as it was so nice to get ou tof town and enjoy all of Byron!. The managers Ange and Ivan are very friendly and cannot do enough for you to make sure that your stay is what you want it to be.
