Phoned in advance on the morning of my visit, asked if they would be able to cater for a coeliac. They advised that they didn't have a fully gluten free kitchen and no separate prep area, but they were well clued up on cross contamination and were happy to cater for me. On arrival, I had a choice of dishes, decided on a pasta dish with chorizo and tomato and it was absolutely gorgeous. The lunch was amazing, sat outside in the sun and everyone who served us was absolutely lovely and happy to cater for us in every way possible. An absolutely delightful place for lunch, super safe for coeliacs and would 100% recommend!

My husband and I stopped off for a snack. We had the most wonderful scones and jam. I think the jam was home made, it was a delicious combination of various berries. Friendly service, really nice atmosphere. Great place to stop, off when exploring Uig.

Stopped on the way to the beaches and we were delightfully surprised. The restaurant used to be an old school house and has a quirky charm about it.

Celebrating everything vintage, serving up delicious and traditional homemade cakes, wholesome food and of course some excellent tea and coffee with soya options. Their décor and atmosphere is inspired, with classic China tea sets, old posters and travel treasures. The staff were very friendly.

If you are passing by I would recommend a stopover. You won't be disappointed!

Fresh coffee and a selection of cakes made this a fantastic place to stop on the way to the beaches of Uig. The soup of the day and fresh bread made this one of the food highlights of Lewis. The friendly service and quirky interior also make it worth a stop.
