A paradise. I was surprised to see a green forest in this white island. Snorkeling is the main thing that needs to be done here, you will see beautiful marine creatures beneath the crystal clear water.

A little bit of paradise, white sand a marine reserve with amazing diving/snorkeling , nature trail, and low key amenities. Allow you to find a spot to hideaway for a few hours and pretend your shipwrecked.
Ok the amenities are basic food is available and drinks, but best to bring your own supplies especially ice and water. Perfect if you want a barbecue with friends. The cooperative that run the boats to and from the island and also maintain its cleanliness do a great job.
Long may it stay the way it is today.
NB bring sun block !

Went to Mantigue Island via "bangka" for P550 for the round trip. Additional P200 was asked from us by the boatsmen for them to take us to the Marine Sanctuary. there were snorkels for rent by the port; we brought our own. there were some fees when we got to the island.. My friend and I stayed at the beach for a few hours prior to snorkeling at the sanctuary... the beach was just perfect; super fine white sands, waters that sparkle under the sun shine.. and very clean. The Fish Sanctuary was home to different variety of beautiful fishes. If you go to Camiguin, you must see this :)

Snorkeling around Mantigue Island gives you fantastic views of what's beneath you in the crystal clear waters. Colorful fishes surround you, shelves of reefs look like stairs, blue starfishes everywhere. It truly was a spectacular sight. The place to be just to relax, soak some sun in, and frolic along the white sandy shores. Absolutely beautiful.

this is an adventure that one has to experience in his lifetime. a walk through the forest in the island that has been kept as it was since time immemorial.

aside from being a good dive and snorkel site, the island offers long shore line for a peaceful sun bath to catch up on your perfect tan.
