“it was my first visit and want to come a thousand more!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

The islands got so much to offer and would not mind staying there for good! I would be so easy to fill up the day's itinerary and many people there already know how and where to take you. Katibawasan falls is a great place with that pure water coming from the volcanic mountain. I did not hesitate to drink while swimming. wading and swimming is perfect here, it was very cold but tolerable. The Soda Pool was also quite interesting as well as the White Island. I went there on May, but the best time is around September when the Lanzones are in harvest which is the best Lanzones the whole archipelago can offer.

Be a little street smart as Camiguin Island is adventure is the name of the game in the island.

“Love at first sight.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012 via mobile

The minute we set our eyes on the island from the ferry we were I love with Camiguin island. It's something which will make you fall in love with it. The easy going lifestyle, the friendly people, excellent food and the million things you can do us just unbelievable for such a tiny island. I wish the whole of the country was like this.

“Charming small island province”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

This is an island province that can be easily connected to and from the mainland Mindanao. There is a new route from Jagna in the island province of Bohol in the Visayas to Camiguin island in Mindanao.

I have been in this island twice. It is not a white-sand beach since this island is volcanic, home to more that five volcanoes, and probably one extinct volcano. The only white sand beach is the treeless small island close to the northwest side of Camiguin. If the budget warrants there is a very nice beach resort very close to the white island. Could probably go back again but do not expect much in this laid back island community.

Be prepared to be there at least two days to explore the whole island and experience it for yourself.

“Beautiful island with lots of activities to keep you amazed at its beauty”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

Very chilled out island. Variety of activities to do - snorkelling, diving (many great sites), mantigue island, white island, giant clam sanctuary, trek up mount Hobok-hibok, trek across the island, waterfalls, hot/cold springs, hire a motorcycle and explore the island
