We always look forward to spending some quality family time in Coco Grove every time we are back in the Philippines. I think this was our 3rd time, since we are only back every 3-5 years. It is always one of our highlights of our vacation. We are such a large family but Coco Grove never fails to accommodate us... the place is spacious that you never feel cramped into one place... and so tranquil that you truly get to enjoy being one with nature. We enjoyed the wonderful accommodations of the Coco Villas.
The food is good and you have several options. Also we were able to scuba dive for the first time, which was another highlight to our trip! It was so awesome!
The resort offers so much that whatever you need, they will probably be able to provide it for you. They have tuk-tuk that took us to other local places, and they also have vans that we took us around for our day-trip around Siquijor on our last day before heading to the pier. They have several pools also - the kids truly loved it because the water mixture is not too full of chlorine that it dries up your skin or hurt to open your eyes underwater.
But the place is nothing if not for Joy and all the wonderful staff. Everyone was so warm and hospitable to all of us. The nightly entertainment was great. The kids were able to interact with the fire performers and try it out. And the adults had fun singing with the live band and dancing with Joy and the staff!
We can’t wait to be back again in this place next time we’re in the country! Keep up the great work! (Especially looking forward to new additions that were still being built when we were there.)
