“Lovely people - best shower EVER”
Reviewed June 22, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We had booked another B&B but cancelled and came here instead and I'm so glad we did.

Peter and Katy are lovely people. Our own lives are a bit manic, but we came away calm... until we realised that we hadn't left enough time to get to the ferry (we made it in the end... JUST!).

Artistic, articulate and knowledgeable people. And calm (did I mention that already?!)

Rooms were comfortable, the shower was amazing, and it was rather nice to see that most of the things we ate were from their garden. This is the life we dream of and we can see what a difference it could make to us.

Thoroughly recommended B&B, however, there is a bit of renovation going on, so if you have inquisitive younger children, it could be a bit hazardous. Not a negative, but just making you aware.

Carolles is a lovely beach which about an hour away but well worth the visit.

Peter is an artist and you might find some of his artwork interesting. Katy is a tai chi instructor. We didn't do any, but they explained the different moves etc - again all very interesting stuff.

Enjoy your stay!
