Let me save your time. I've seen the best hotels in the world, and you will not get any better then this one.

I have never, ever seen anything better then this. Best service, best cuisine in the world. The 7 star dubai hotel is nothing compared to this. 8 star all the way.

this is one of the best resorts in the maldives, nothing comes closer to paradise. they give you your own cycles or golf buggies to explore the island. the bridges across the river are so picturesque, the island is huge, the rooms are fantastic. i prefer the beach villas to the water villas. there is a bubble bed in the pool! also besides their infinity pool they have a fresh water pool amongst the foliage. service was great, the food in the japanese restaurant was superb and must must have the dessert banana crumble in the reethi restaurant. be careful not to go during monsoon cos the rain can spoil a lot of your outdoor activities :(

We had planned our holiday a few months in advance and done our research on tripadvisor so we knew what to expect. That Maldives is beautiful is an understatement....you have to see it to believe it. If there is paradise on earth it is in Maldives and we found it in our resort – The One & Only – Reeti Rah. We were truly delighted to see our private beach villa- 232. I was almost jumping in disbelief at the size of the villa and the private beach. We started our holiday with a grand lunch at the restaurant overlooking the sea with crystal clear water in shades of turquoise and blue. Each villa is assigned two bicycles; so post lunch we biked around exploring the property. It was huge in size. The villas were so well designed that you could not see them from the common pathways; all you could see was the beautiful landscape around it. Our first dinner was at the Arabian restaurant- Fanditha (at the beach) a lavish spread of Arabian buffet. The food was authentic and desserts innumerable though I thought it was too expensive, it included no beverages not even water. The next morning we woke up to the sun, sand & the sea that was the view from our bed. We thoroughly enjoyed the large bath tub in the villa. In the next two days we drank, ate and enjoyed our beautiful villa, spending the mornings in the sea or the infinity pool. We went snorkelling with our guide. I have no words to describe the beauty of the world in the sea. We went to see the sunset which was on the other side of the resort. It was very breezy on that side of the beech so we felt lucky to have a villa on the calm side of the resort.
Holidays are made of memories and memories are made of places and people & food. The place was beyond our imagination in every way. The people who made this holiday perfect were Joseph at the Reethi bar and Santhosh – Reethi Manager, at the restaurant. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and served us very well. We had read a lot of reviews which talked highly about their villa host and were aware that they unpack and pack for guests. But our villa host was rather disinterested. He did not offer to unpack, he only came for housekeeping. He did not even come to see us when we were leaving the villa. So this part was disappointing. Was the food expensive? Yes, but as expensive as any good restaurant in a five star so it did not pinch but what pinched was having to purchase water even at breakfast and at the buffet.
Food was great right from the Arabic buffet to the breakfast and all our meals in the restaurants. We tried a lot of desserts but only enjoyed the chocolate tart – this is a must eat for all chocolate lovers. The bartender fixed us some real beachy cocktails that were out of the world. The mango juice & mango smoothie too deserves a mention.
The only thing that we thought was not worth was the airport transfer. At 660$ we were expecting a luxury yacht but what we got was a speed boat. This we thought was way too expensive.
On our way back to the airport there was someone who received us at the airport and took our luggage and checked us right in. We had to do nothing. He took great care of us and stood there waving Bye till we were out of sight. We were touched and decided we’ll be back soon to the same resort and the same villa. This has been our best holiday till date.

back after a 2 year gap and even better than i remembered. my husband scuba dives and this is the best place for it, sharks, mantas, turtles, dolphins, unicorns , they are all here. plenty for me to do whilst my husband was preoccupied with the fish, yoga, tai chi, fitness classes and the spa is wonderful.the villas are fabulous, all overlooking the ocean, very large and well equipped with tea coffee making facilities, large bowl of fresh fruit daily, ipod docking station, plasma tv, cd player.the three restaurants are excellent although we did not enjoy brilliant weather so fanditha was only open for 2 nights out of our 10, this is the outdoor middle eastern restaurant. at this time of year it is very windy and our villa was on the windy side of the island which did spoil our days but we managed to change to the sheltered side after a few days without any fuss, the management were very accommodating. wish we could have stayed longer.this is truly a wonderful island where you can be as lazy or as active as you wish.
