I checked out yesterday and had a good time and everything looks exactly like the pictures except for the service which is really important for the amount paid.
The island was huge and had a variety of options like activities, food and etc...
I will list all the points I went through that made it horrible to me.

1. Housekeeping: they missed the turn down service although I called and fixed a timing.
2.Housekeeping: I paid 800 dollars for late checkout and spent the day y the each and was really surprised that the villa was ignored and was messy from the day before.
3. They had an Italian night so we ordered pasta which is the easiest to cook and it was the WORST PASTA EVER. I have never eaten a pasta that tasted like that although the presentation you the buffet was incredible.
4.Beach club: a waiter called Ali was really rude and made me feel like I was punished and didn't propose alternative options just because I was 8 minutes late without notice. I always ordered expensive wine and felt I had to stay and finish my bottle starving, I asked for them to call the management which never happened and from that request the whole resorts menu was proposed!
5. We looked 2 villas, the water villas door wasn't working so we asked them to fix the problem and waited for minimum half an hour in the heat. the GM was aware of the situation when we bumped into him at therein pool and nothing happened. an employee called Hussain sent someone to fix and the employee told him verbally it doesn't work and he insisted to convince us that there is nothing wrong and it works while we were waiting outside. They sent the team at 9-10 PM while we were asleep and asked therm nicely to leave.
6.After all those complaints nothing was done, they didn't care except for a nice gentleman at the reception called Karam apologized and understood what we went through.

overall, our experience was horrible and we need a vacation from this vacation.

Its a beautiful resort but needs better and stronger management I think.

PS: If you ask any staff to call the management they will NOT and they don't care.

Not one&only standard at all.

I highly recommend the FOUR SEASONS Landaa Giraavaru, you will bbe shocked with the level of service. always extra miles not just mile!

service is everything in such trips, I don't care how beautiful the resort is!

I don’t recommend the one and only. I did stay there with my family for 6 nights and it didn’t seem like an authentic and charming place to stay. We felt nickeled and dimed for everything and the up-charge was actually simply irrational. I do have to say that the rooms are spacious with gorgeous furniture and setting. The staff is professional and well trained. The restaurants have a lot of food options. The beaches are magical. But the up charge part gets annoying “ sunbum sunscreen” is for $56 :) and if you even want water on the beach you have to pay for it after paying $2000 for your room ;)
We asked to arrange for a whale shark adventure and our butler tells us with a straight face that it’s $17,000 for a seaplane followed by $4000 for a boat ride .. we ended up checking out on our 6th night and going to another hotel and doing the excursion for $55. Yoga on the sandbar is for $500 . Just non sensical price tags that get under your skin. ( or at least mine)
I just didn’t feel the sense of hospitality.
Again, the hotel is clean, luxurious , well equipped and beautiful. I just didn’t feel home being there

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at this hotel.. it was a seemless experience from airport arrival to check in to dining to check out
Staff were super friendly & there is nothing you wish for that cannot be possible.
Been to Maldives many times and this resort is my favorite by far
