My wife and I spent 6 days here for part of our Honeymoon at the beginning of April. I had been doing a lot of research about resorts in the Maldives and Moofushi kept coming up in both reviews and word of mouth. The positive things we'd heard about this paradise island couldn't be ignored... And I can only agree with the great reviews you can see here.
After travelling from Ireland via Dubai we were ready to drop when we got to Male but there was still the seaplane taxi to catch. Constance representatives take care of you as soon as you come through customs and escort you to get your bags weighed (20kg large suitcase, 7kg hand luggage) and then you're taken on a bus to the Constance departure lounge in the air taxi 'airport'. A soothing cold towel and refreshing mango drink await you as formalities are taken care of with passports and payment etc. If you're lucky, you're taken straight to the resort but sometimes drop offs to other resorts can occur on the way to Moofushi. We had direct flights both ways thankfully. The sea plane is a truly magical way to see the atoll's islands so keep your camera handy!
Kai and his courteous staff are ready to greet you as you step off the plane onto paradise found! Moofushi is surrounded by crystal clear blue waters... The photos just can't do it justice! A quick tour of the island facilities before you're taken to your beach hut, or in our case, a water villa with steps down to the coral reef below. It's a snorkeller's paradise this place with so many varieties of fish, harmless reef sharks and beautiful manta rays... Even saw some dolphins swim by. You won't be disappointed. The villa itself is perfect with a large bed overlooking the reef and your own sun deck.
We were on the all-inclusive crystal package which is needed as food and drink is expensive out here. The range of food, beverages, cocktails and an impressive wine list (try the Wishbone!) is superb. I've never had a buffet that tasted so good. Couldn't help but go back for more! Khalid, the restaurant manager, is very friendly and makes sure everything is to your liking. The wine waiters will also impress you with their knowledge of the grapes! You also have one sitting at the Al a carte restaurant as part of the all-inclusive which is just as good in a very romantic setting. The Totem Bar, by the pool, has a good day time menu also if you want to step away from the buffet for lunch and they provide waffles and high tea every afternoon.
You have one excursion as part of your package but you can also pay to do extra ones. We highly recommend the whale shark tour... If you're lucky as we were, you get to swim with these beautiful, peaceful characters. Hassan and the Bluetribe team look after you on all the tours. Unfortunately some of the other resorts groups are also tracking the whale sharks and it can be a bit crazy in the water as everyone is trying to get pictures and swim with them. A flipper in the face is a common occurrence. If you get lucky, you and only your boat may get a chance to catch these wonderful creatures.
A relaxing couples massage at the spa on our last day was perfect. You peer down into the reef through a glass window as the knots are pushed out of your shoulder blades... A magical experience!
Moofushi really is a wonderful place to lose yourselves and forget about the world. My wife and I will cherish our time there for the rest of our lives and would love to come back someday. When I read any negative reports about this resort I wonder where some of these people are coming from... It's a truly special resort and the staff would bend over backwards to cater to your needs. You wont be disappointed! It really is Paradise Found!

Service staffs are friendly and prices include alcohol drinks throughout the day! The house reef is near the jetty and we managed to see two big manta rays while snorkeling near the jetty. This is our third trip to Maldives and we enjoy our stay here.

Room Tip: Water villa facing sunset; room number greater than 40

My husband and I were very lucky to spend 2 lovely weeks at the Constance Moofushi Resort in March 13. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, which ensured a very relaxing stay. We loved our beach villa (20) and our room boy was excellent. The food was very good and the waiters were all very friendly and efficient. The all-inclusive package was excellent. Towards the end of our holiday, we had the opportunity to spend a few nights at the sister hotel, Constance Halaveli, a short trip away by speedboat. Our beach villa there was really lovely and we experienced a similar level of friendliness and efficiency to that at the Constance Moofushi. We would have no hesitation in returning to this lovely resort! Thank you, Hilton, for managing your resort so well! We really hope to return in the near future!

I have just returned from a family vacation to Moofushi (7th resort visited in Maldives) and have had a great time . Is it perfect? No it is not however the overall experience comes close .
The resort is small and well maintained we had two Villas one a beach the other a water villa. We had to move from our first water due to problems with water temperature and poor air-conditioning the second villa a superior water villa was lovely but note if you really like to chill your room it won't work. All villas are nicely presented and have great bathrooms .
With regards service Moofushi gets a 10 out of ten . The staff are well trained very friendly and go the extra yard to help assist and please you.
Food at Moofushi could be improved it is good but the main restaurant is buffet and some of the food is slightly overcooked as a result of standing too long .To be fair and accurate the food when delivered to the buffet is great and you can also have the station chefs prepare certain dishes in front of you. The second restaurant off a menu is excellent .
Where Moofushi really scores is the all inclusive drinks etc the wine list soft drinks ,water is one of the best i have seen in the Maldives.
The Wine waiter Ari not only knows his stuff but is a very funny entertaining and nice individual.
The diving is the reason i choose this place and wow does it deliver!!!
This and the Kanahurra are the two best dive operations i have seen in the Maldives by some distance ! The diving is well organised safe and fantastic fun with a team better than i have ever come across. Miles, Enzo, Hassan and all the lovely girls and backroom guys are at the top of their game well done and thank you.

With regards the spa i only have one comment it needs a changing room with showers as it's the only place in the Maldives without this facility and it really needs it .The treatments were good but i wanted to shower afterwards.

The real test is would i go back ? The answer yes as soon as possible.

This was paradise. Food was great, service was great, and accommodation was great. Just snorkeling off the resort was like being in an aquarium. Very international which we view as a plus. Service was excellent.
