I like this hotel. It is perfect for the couple rest. You can find all sources for the rest. If you like to move you can try animation sections. We were happy to have at aqua trainings, TRX, yoga time with very attentive animators. Hi to Sandani !)
If you want to be alone to think, to read .. you will have a peaceful please to do it.

What an awesome time!!!
I was there with my boyfriend and his parents for one week. We have stayed in beach room oceanfront. View from the room was very nice, room is specious and clean but there is a lot of humidity. There are no bathrobe or small cosmetics. Cleaing service is very good. Beach is wonderfull. During our stay we could use bars, restaurants and pools from both hotels ( riu atoll+ riu palace). For a breakfast, lunch and dinner we had to go to another hotel. The distance is about 1-1,5 km and u can go there with small car. In my opionion there are not enought cars. (sometimes we had to wait 15 min). That was problematic, especially when it was raining. Food and service in restaurant was great. There were live music evenings with very good band. During the day there are also animation on the pool like aqua gym what i really liked. Animation team was great. Bartenders from pool bar were doing their best and they were preparing very good coctails.
We booked the 8 days holiday stay in RIU Atoll via RIU application and stayed in room with direct beach access. It was worth little extra money and definitely the stunning view from the room or small terrace. Beach is sandy with white Maledives sand very comfortable to walk over even during midday heat. Sea is generally shallow right from the coral reef, but there is large triangle lagoon of the deeper water in the lower part of Soutern Atoll side. It is perfect place for swimming in somewhat colder water with streams and to do some snorkeling within is limits with stones and corals and some sea life.
We have chosen seaplane to travel from Male to the atoll, which was worth the extra money. Wiew of the islands and atolls on the way was breathtaking.
Cuisine was just fantastic with Chef Fernando and his able assistants in control. Variety of excellent Asian and European was changing daily and specialized restaurants (Steakhouse, Japanese) were also doing great job.
Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and we were also amazed with timeliness and tidyness of room cleaning services.
Even the departure Covid PCR test with friendly Egyptian doctor Zakieh was almost pleasant expirience. Management of the resort was always present and attentive.
We can highly recommend the resort (with RIU Palace on neighbouring island, linked with Atoll by 700 meters long bridge with waterfront villas) to everyone, who can really spend nice vacation in one of most wonderful places, we've ever seen.

I live RIU Atoll,and that’s amazing pool,but very amazing and the best is Chandana whose work in SporBar,and make amazing cocktails 🍸,which I drink 24/7,really recommend!)
