Biyadhoo was a different experience for me compared to my other resort visits. It is a green area with lots of huge trees and greenery and we really loved it as a family. Please do not change this nice surrounding full of trees.

Information from the front office should be given clear as what we got was vague. We reached the place just at lunch time and when we wanted to the opt for the lunch of the following day, so that we can depart after lunch, the response wasn't clear stating that the boat transfer provision is not sure.

Food was good, especially the dinner was great and breakfast was also very good. We got a family room as requested on the first floor and it is very spacious and clean. The room staff was very friendly. Would like to propose that you can conduct sessions for the restaurant staff to be more friendly and cooperating with the guests as we are not that happy with it.

Hotel and the beach was really great and relaxing, especially we liked the swing in the sea and some snorkelling closer to shore which was really nice. The water sports person was really friendly and helpful.

We would also like to suggest that it would be great if water is provided at meals for free and it may make the place more home like for the guests.

Overall, we had two great days and enjoyed the break and it was fun, and it would be awsome if the mentioned few points are looked into.

Cheers!

The best holiday we have ever had!!

Beach and snorkling fantastic, local reef full of various type of fish and recovering coral, each time we saw a different species we hadnt seen before.

Food was great, something for everyone, freshly cooked.  My daughter is vegan and our lovely chef Henda was making flavourful and beautifully presented dishes especially for her every day. He is brilliant and super friendly.

Waiters also look after guests very well, we really enjoyed the company of our waiter Labeeb, lovely man.

Accommodation was very comfortable, spacious and cosy with super air con. The man who was cleaning our rooms (room 16) was not only friendly and considering but also kept everything super clean.

All other personnel including ladies who sweep the ground, men who clean the beach, boat and bar staff, and Cristina and spa lady worked very hard and always helpful and cheerful.

We were very surprised about previous negative reviews and feel it is due to wrong expectations.  The resort is not defined as luxury or full of animation 24/7 to entertain you, but if you love nature and looking for a relaxing holidays, you certainly won't be disappointed.

A huge thank you everyone!!!!

Hope to be back soon  X

This island was perfect for us, it’s naturally beautiful not pretentious in any way. The huts were clean and adequate for us. The food was good, I’m vegetarian but managed to find something different every day.
The snorkelling is out of this world! We regularly saw turtles, sharks, and lots of colourful coral fish.

We stayed here in the last two weeks in May to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Apologies for the late review.

This place sums up the Maldives, for those who wish to experience the island, and its waters, rather than a false five star façade. Biyadhoo is affordable, some may describe it as "budget", but don't let that fool you into thinking you won't have a fabulous time.

Having been met by our terrific Kuoni rep, Christina, (who was very helpful indeed) we spent ten days enjoying delicious food, amazing sea-life, glorious beaches, entertaining evenings in the bar, and, above all else, fantastic friendly staff. From the reception staff, the bar staff, the restaurant staff, the room boys, to the ladies and gents keeping the beaches and woodland tidy, all we had was welcoming smiles and helpful attitudes. We can't thank them all enough.
The rooms - well it's been said they need upgrading, but they're certainly not a major downside at all (who spends all their time in the room on a beautiful island?). The food was delicious on a daily basis. We did have the special romantic beach meal for our Anniversary night - it was amazing! Well worth the extra (which wasn't a lot anyway) and definitely worth it to eat delicious sea-food (Lobster, prawns etc) right on the beach with the waves lapping the shore. We even had a cake made for us, and received and bottle of wine and basket of fruit (delivered to our room). Thank you so much to the restaurant staff and our waiter for making that a very special evening for us.
The snorkelling and diving is simply fabulous. This is by far the best reef we've been to for it's amazing life. Don't waste a minute while you're there - get in the sea and see all the colours of the rainbow.

There's only one bar, but this actually adds to the fun, because you make so many friends each evening. The entertainment was just right, and different every time. The bar staff were terrific in remembering our favourite drinks - they do a sterling job.
We also has a spot of heaven in the spa. The massage treatments are simply incredible. Thank you also to the beautiful spa ladies who are so very good at their job. We tried three massages from the spa "menu". and we could easily have tried more. So relaxing, and a great addition to our holiday.

Do take mosquito repellent - lots of it and different types (plug-ins, sprays, creams etc) as there are plenty of biting mosquitos around. But don't let that put you off, just be prepared and you'll be fine. Anti-histamines (creams or tablets) are also very useful for the bites. As I say, don't worry about it, just be prepared.

We had a fantastic time, and we'll definitely be coming back. If you crave 5 star pampering, then dip a little deeper into your wallet and try one of the more expensive islands - which are great (we've done those too). But Biyadhoo gave us an amazing experience at a very reasonable price. We won't forget them!

Room Tip: The west side rooms have better beaches and sun in the afternoon/evening. Do try the spa. Don't forget the mosquito repellent!

Beautiful little gem of an island,
Most relaxing place I've ever visited, beautiful beach & crystal green ocean, what's not to love!
Most of the staff are lovely & cant do enough for you, though a very few were miserable, the chef was a lovely guy who went above & beyond the call of duty.
If your looking for a laid back none pretentious island this one is a hard act to follow
