We arrived at Meedhupparu on Fri 24th Jan and stayed until Mon 3rd Feb. Here’s our thoughts: Welcome We were greeted by the Hayes & Jarvies / Tui / First Choice Rep Rohan as soon as we got off the seaplane and were taken straight to the main bar for an arrival drink. We arrived about 2.30pm so we were provided with a light snack too to keep us going until dinner. Following our food and filling in a small amount of paperwork we were given a quick overview of the island by Amjad before Rohan showed us to our room. We were in 292 which was on a lovely part of the island with a view straight out to see. Rooms The beds are huge, if you’re used to sleeping in a double bed you’ll feel lost as there is so much space and they were very comfy – better than my mattress at home. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We had a bed decoration on our arrival for our honeymoon which was too nice to take off! In the room you have a mini bar however this is chargeable. You get x2 1.5lt bottles of water a day which you have space to chill in the fridge. The bathroom is half indoor/outdoor which an enclosed shower, twin sinks and an outdoor fresh water shower, lovely after swimming in the sea. Outside we have a deck with...More
