Just home from Sweden having had a week at the Valhall in Kalix, the last time I was here was 7 years ago and I had some "fun" in the Valhall and just stayed one night! This time was different though and the Hotel is pretty good. The room, although small and basic was quite comfortable but they do need blackout blinds on the windows, the sun was rising at around 0330 and waking me up. The food was excellent as was the service in the restuarant, the only minus was the prices, it's very expensive, i've not done my expenses yet but the Hotel bill for 6 nights was nearly £1000.00 which represents very poor value for the money.More
