My review is no different from the others that you may have read. This wonderful home is first class and affordable. When you confirm your booking with Evi, she will send you detailed information as well as a map to the villa.

It is a wonderful hideaway, hidden in a glass factory. When you open the large doors, walk directly foward where you will find a grey door which opens to the B&B. Please press the bell to Villa Lina before you go in to the grey door.

Evi and Christina are such wonderful hosts and you really feel that you are family. They are super efficient and at the end of of a phone call whenevr you need anything. They are 2 wonderful nurturing mamas who makes you feel right at home instantly! I have never felt like this in a B&B. The love and warmth combined with clean, comfortable and chic rooms are just what you need after the crowds and noise of Venice.

This gem of a place is only a 8 minute walk from the nearest vaporetto station ( no bridge ). It is also a 5 minute walk to the center of town. What more could we ask for ???

The furniture is comfortable and you are allowed use of the den, dining room and the patio/ balcony which offers beautiful view of Venice and sunsets...

Once you are settled, Evi spends time with you with all the ionformation you need and the best restaurants to go etc.... She also provides an ext number where you can get her should you need anything.

All in all, the best of hotel amenities, love and warmth of a home and family, all for the price of a B&B !

Want to avoid the craziness of Venice? We stayed at Villa Lina on the island of Murano for 2 nights, and had 2 rooms for our adult family of 4. This very reasonable B@B is just minutes away from Venice and Burano by vapporetta. It is close to a boat stop, which has direct service to the train station/airport. Murano is charming, quiet and has great Resturants.
Villa Lina is located in a charming neighborhood on one of the canals. It has a private garden and furnished terrace that has wonderful views of the water, Venice and sunsets! The rooms are spacious, immaculate and wonderfully quiet! There is also access to a large dining room and den.
Meet the lovely Evi, who is very knowledgable , helpful & treats you like family! She also provides a full Breakfest will lots of options, treats, and even eggs! We loved our stay and would love to visit again!

Room Tip: All rooms are charming with wonderful spacious bathrooms, wonderfully decorated .

This boutique B&B is an exquisite example of Italian interior design and traditional Venetian family hospitality, all combined with class, elegance and style.

Ms Evi, the landlady belongs to one of the oldest families in the Murano island and her husband has been for decades a top interiors glass designer for the best Murano glass makers.

Attention to details in this four rooms B&B is phenomenal and every spot where your eyes look at has been carefully thought of, transferring pleasure of beauty and perfection to the visual experience.

Breakfast is very elegant, based on a buffet selection of fresh and nice options, as weel as additional choices from the kitchen, in the used-to-be family dining room with a view of the channel and in the summer located in the adjacent open terrace.

Regardless of the official star rating, this is in my view a 5 star B&B

The B&B is located in a "secret" spot of Murano, just five minutes walk from the boat which takes you to Venice in ten minutes. The ideal location for visiting Murano island, the center for the last 700 years of Italian artistic glass making, or moving away from the Venice crowd

We had a great 2 night stay at Villa Lina in October and only wished we could have stayed longer. Evi is a marvelous host, very kind and helpful and provides a delicious breakfast each morning in the dining room or on the lovely terrace with views of Venice. The rooms are very modern and clean with nice bedding and excellent storage space. The bathroom is also modern and very well appointed. As other people have said it is a treat to come back to Murano which is so quiet and serene after the hustle and bustle of Venice but only a short vaporetto ride away. We would definitely stay at Villa Lina if visiting Venice again and thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in luxury at a reasonable price.

We stayed in Villa Lina at the end of a 2 week holiday to Italy. Having stayed in Rome and Florence, which are amazing, but, fairly large cities with all the noise and night life that accompanies them. It was a great and relaxing change to arrive on the quiet and peaceful island of Murano.

The island itself is in a great location and only a 15 minute Vaporetto ride to/from Venice. The Villa Lina is fairly easy to find, with Evi, the gracious hostess providing any and all information on how to get to Murano and find the accommodation. The accommodation is fantastic, the rooms are large, clean, good bathrooms and the free Wifi connection is excellent throughout the villa. Breakfast was delicious with a stunning view of Venice and the canal from the dining room and balcony.

We were greeted by Evi on our arrival, she was friendly and her English very good. She explained about the island, transport system, good local restaurants and was nothing but helpful throughout our stay.

Next time we visit Venice, we will definitely stay in Villa Lina.

We loved our stay at Villa Lina and enjoyed coming home to the peace and quiet of Murano at night. Evi was extremely kind and helpful, giving us excellent suggestions about where to park, how to get around and where to eat. We enjoyed waking up to wonderful breakfasts on the patio and walking through the streets of Murano. Thank you for your hospitality we hope to be back to visit again.

We recently visited Venice and were so glad that we stayed on Murano, away from all the noise and crowds. The island has plenty of good restaurants and shops and Villa Lina is a short walk from the boat station. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were excellent and the owner,Evi, was a very gracious hostess.
