A wonderful getaway - excellent facility, efficient and friendly staff, beautiful setting. Our room overlooked the falls and was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The inn's dining room was very busy but our server was most attentive and knowledgeable - the menu reflected the season and provided several delicious options for the discerning guest. The wine list was a delight - many selections to compliment the Fall menu. Walking paths, drives through the surrounding countryside, the village of Wakefield and the areas around the mill itself provided a welcome change from busy city life.

Room Tip: Top floor main building - falls view - beautiful view of the Fall canopy and the soporific sounds of the falls.

We just spent a fall weekend at this inn. The location was stunning and accommodation, service and food were excellent.
Good hiking trails were very close and it was great to relax in the hot tub after hiking.

My work colleagues booked our stay here, and I thought, oh no, another spa. But this place was beautiful. Situated by a nicely flowing river, trees, the TransCanada walking trail, a picturesque bridge, and with gorgeous views from my room and the dining area (too nice to call it merely a dining room), I immediately felt at ease. The meals were delicious, with a lot of local fare, too, and it is possible to do wine pairings with every course of your meal, which I had never done before. All and all--a great stay. I've been recommending it to all my friends.

Right in Canada's Capital back yard, this is such am amazing little spot to get away.

I stayed in October and the surroundings where amazing.

The restaurant was awesome, never had a bad meal and the deserts are to die for. Was located in the new building across the bridge and could not have been happier with my room. Overlooking the river, i had an awesome soaker tub, comfy bed and most of all great view. The room was clean and spotless. One thing i found, the gab under the door to the hallway was a little too large, letting in a good amount of light at night.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 602, would make sure i asked and paid a little more for 601 and 602!

Perfect fall retreat - the Gatineau Park; the leaves; a resident waterfall, walking trails...

But the Highlight - Six Course Discovery Menu Dinner with matching wines...

Wow ! To be Experienced ! Put in on your Bucket List..

Will be eating salads for the next week at least.

Room Tip: Rooms nice but quite ordinary - obviously, ask for one with a view of the falls.
