we saved a visit to this special place as the last thing to do before heading home again.Maybe our expectations were too high but we were rather disappointed. We went for the tasting menue (120 euros) and our first 'dish' was a shotglass of carotjuice , no more no less!.Second 'dish' was a plate with three thin slices of salami; I kid you not: there was nothing else on the plate than that. Next came a small slab of goat butter (third dish).A tiny tin can with 10 tiny mussels and two prawns were dish four and five.Dish 6 was half an ansjovis on a toast with the size of a finger. And it went on like that (I think the total menu consisted of 12 courses) to end with an excellent T bone steak, grilled to perfection.(with a very salty green salad).
All in all, we had a nice lunch but we were far from impressed. Service was so and so: they would put the plates more or less in front of you; no info on the food was given and no one but the sommelier spoke english or french.
My advice , if you want to go here, would be to order a la carte and share the food between the guests around the table.Make sure one of your friends speaks Spanish; it will surely help.
