No comments needed for the Art Museum - a great blend between exhibition space and architecture in a beautiful surrounding. I'll only mention the art workshop for kids: three floors, picking up themes from the current exhibitions and attended by the most tolerant helpers Denmark knows... A definite go and come back for the whole family!

I did a combination rail and museum ticket which made it simple. Nice ride from Copenhagen and a bit of a walk to the museum, but then no more than the walking Ive been doing since my arrival. It is a walkabout town. Back to the museum, lovely surroundings, great 3 dimensional pieces as well as 2d. The weather eas sunny so I ate my lunch outside overlooking the water. Very well laid outand some intriguing interactive displays as well.

Fantastic art museum located 34km North from Copenhagen. An easy train ride and a ten minute walk away. The whole building has a Stanley Kubrik vibe with white washed walls, floor to ceiling glass windows, staircases and lifts with an entire wing underground. The museum also has a restaurant (buffet style) and a lake/outdoor area, complete with sculptures to walk around. The Pop art exhibit on at the moment (April 2013) is fantastic with pieces from many recognisable artists of the era on display. I'd highly recommend making the trip out there.

OK - Guggenheim in Bilbao is not that bad either. Lousiana has one of the finset collections of modern art in the world ! It is situated overlooking the sea and the rooms and buildings blend into the landscape. You will be amaced by all the discoveries you will find crossing the next corner. Placed a good 45 min drive north of cph.

This is absolutely the best museum I have ever visited. We bought the entrance together with the return train ticket - and is cost just 180 DKK/person. The Pop Art Design Exhibition with many of Andy Warhol's piece of art was fantastic as well as the many Picassos in the pernament collections. The museum shop was large and interesting...
