This hotel is horrible! Service is very bad.We had reserveated and paid for room with mountain/garden view, but we got view on a small patio and noisy restaurant. Girl in the reception was freak. We didn't get any apologizes. She said only that they can cancel the reservation if we want, but she known that there wasn't free room on the same level in the neighbourhood.(we made the reservation early and it was high season). The internet was very slow and unstable. The restaurant was expensive and there were only four main dishes, open only between 19 and 21.Prices like in a 3-4 stars restaurant, not two.Not enough tables for all guests. There wasn't possible to regulate the temperature in the room, because of only one aircondotioner for 4 rooms. Nice views in the area was an advantage.

It's a nice hotel in a good location, but nothing exceptional for this area: our 'terrace' had a high wall next to it so you could only see the view if you stood up! We chose to stay here, far from civilisation, because it had a restaurant - but when we arrived we were told breezily that there was a big coach party coming so it was 'closed' - i.e., the other guests, on the coach party, would be eating in the restaurant, so we weren't invited. They'd made no attempt to warn us of this in advance, despite having our e-mail address, telephone number etc. So much for French hospitality! The place is inexplicably over-priced.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view you can actually see

We arrived late in the day but were well received. The rooms are clean and tidy and there is a nice atmosphere around the place. The daughter of the house served us our meal and she was just lovely and could not have been more helpful.

We ate in an enclosed patio area ...the salad was delicious and the meal was more than adequate ....there was a pool but we were unable to sample this due to the weather on that evening.

The owner again was most helpful when settling up the next day

Room Tip: Lots of recent updates to the rooms so you should be OK

The location and set-up of this hotel is lovely. Extensive grounds, large swimming pool, boules pitch, shaded courtyard and indoor games. Friendly staff, and some dogs live there if you are missing your own.

A touch expensive for a small but very clean and modern room in the extension, with facilities at ground level with a patio area outside the front door for evening drinks, and the bedroom upstairs with a balcony (on the opposite side from the patio), to catch the morning sun, and screened from next door if one wants privacy sunbathing. A beautiful view over the valley to the Luberons from the bedroom window. Aircon.

The evening meal was quite expensive but it would be a long way to a restaurant. On the other hand breakfast was excellent, only one Euro over the other hotels we stayed at this year, but a wide choice of food including made-to order omelette (eggs could also be boiled, or what-have-you). A nice relaxing experience and worth paying a little bit more, but it was still less than at non-budget chain hotels.

Room Tip: Extension odd-numbered rooms are good, but do not know what the rest are like. We stayed in room 31.

We turned up to Mas de la tour, unbooked and found them accommodating they had a lovely double room with aircon & also ensuite new and really modern and luxurious very clean the terrace on the room looks out on the stunning countryside "heaven" . The owners are down to earth and exceptional friendly ,we had evening meal and was second to none absolutely delicious the orange & honey sauce with the duck was the best I have tasted in a long time compliments to the chef ! The breakfast was outstanding also , you wanted for nothing was a full buffet of pastries, fruit. yoghurts , eggs, bread, cereals , croissants, coffee, tea, juices ect. would recommend this to anyone friends and family will love to get back there one day soon thanks again from The crowhurst's.

Room Tip: our room was just up stairs from reception highly recommend !
