“Natural hot spring water renew body and soul”
Reviewed August 25, 2012

A beautiful relaxing stay about 3 hours drive from Cape Town. At this time of the year there is the added bonus of seeing the beautiful Spring flowers appear. The baths have a soothing and rejuvenating effect on ones state of mind, and it is highly recommended for those wishing for a rejuvenating, peaceful stay away from the rush of the city. There is a restaurant with a good selection of meals and the accomodation is comfortable and very affordable. There is a also the option of bringing a tent or caravan and camping under the shady trees next to a trickling brook.

“Romantic”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

To lie in the pristine water of the springs and let your troubles soak away is marvellous. The private jacuzzis are fantastic, spacious and fun. The surrounding vegetation nice for walks. Go and enjoy.

“A relaxing escape from Modern life”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

This is a wonderful getaway, where there are just enough modern conveniences to make life comfortable. The accommodation is good and the waters fantastic with a huge variety of baths; High powered private jacuzzi's, rock pools set under a canopy of trees and the ever relaxing hot pool. I would highly recommend this as the ultimate in relaxing getaways at the best value for money ever!!!!!!!

“its okay”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

we went as day visitors and there is only one pool and not much to do as day visitors. It would be nice more pools, small like rock pools with warm water.

“Disappointing and dirty accommodation”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

We were on honeymoon and chose this location because we were looking for the rustic outdoor feel- a place where we could enjoy the hot baths in the middle of June. On booking we asked for their best accommodation offered because it was our honeymoon. We were given a chalet, from the outside it looked great with fantastic views of the valley. Unfortunately that is where the "great" ended- on entering the chalet we were met with a smell of smoke that lingered in the air. The curtains and the bedding smelt terrible and were dirty. We spent our first night of our honeymoon sleeping on top of the covers and covered ourselves with our swimming towels. The shower had a ball of hair in it and was blocked, the list is too long too mention- the place was just filthy! We bought bedding the next day in Citrusdal and stayed the second night, but then decided that we could no longer tolerate the state of the chalet and moved out. We were refunded for the next two nights that we should have stayed, but no apology from management, not even an attempt was made to make us more comfortable or an offer of other accommodation. The management have a "no care attitude"- this is apparent in the reply I got to my letter of complaint to them.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
